Finnish dark/atmospheric metal band YEARNING has signed a one-album deal with France's Holy Records for the release of its fifth CD. The group will enter the studio in March 2007 to begin recording its fourth album, "Merging into Landscapes", for a summer/fall release. According to the band, the upcoming CD will "offer a combination of power, melancholy, catchy songs and orchestral elements mixed with a powerful metal base." The lyrics to the new tracks "have been influenced by André Breton, Palsa, Baudelaire, Sartre etc. and they are poetic expressions from hopeless existential perspective towards the forms of viewing oneself and world through alienated human." Songtitles set to appear on the album include:

YEARNING c'est pas le groupe de doom signé chez Holy Records et dont le chanteur chante faux de chez faux ?

je ne me rappelais plus de ce groupe ? ça fait combien de temps maintenant ? Ils n'ont pas sorti d'album depuis 1999/2000 si mes souvenirs sont bons, non ?

C'est un de mes groupes préférés. Le batteur est particulièrement bon.
