Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR), Dave Lombardo (SLAYER), Tomoyasu Hotei (superstar Japanese composer, whose credits include the "Kill Bill" soundtrack), Joseph Duplantier (GOJIRA) and Cristina Scabbia (LACUNA COIL) are among the confirmed musicians who have recorded guest appearances on the upcoming album from APOCALYPTICA, tentatively due in September. The CD is being produced by Jacob Hellner (RAMMSTEIN).
APOCALYPTICA recently finished filming a video in Los Angeles with director Tony Petrossian (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, RISE AGAINST, SLIPKNOT) for the song "I'm Not Jesus". Making a guest appearance in the track and the clip is STONE SOUR/SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor.
SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo took part in a recording session with APOCALYPTICA last fall (photo) during SLAYER's "Unholy Alliance" tour stop in Helsinki, Finland.
APOCALYPTICA performed an eight-minute medley yesterday (Saturday, May 12) during the Eurovision Song Contest broadcast in front of several million TV viewers. Watch rehearsal footage at YouTube
