TESTAMENT singer Chuck Billy, bassist Greg Christian, and guitarists Alex Skolnick and Eric Peterson, alongside ex-DIMMU BORGIR and CRADLE OF FILTH drummer Nick Barker, have finished writing six new songs for the group's long-awaited follow-up to 1999's "The Gathering". Tracking is scheduled to begin in June. "Working hard with Nick on some new ideas and some cool old-school styles [that are] coming together really killer," Peterson said in a statement. "It's been a long time coming," Billy added. "This new album is like a good wine: You throw in the grapes and crush."

Ben voilà, ça va peut être faire cliché, mais quel concert que celui de Testament mercredi à l'Hof Ter Lo!
C'est la première fois que je voyais sur scène Alex Skolnick et Greg Christian, et c'était terrible. Quelques petits problèmes de sons au tout début du gig, ou l'on entendait à peine Eric Peterson, alors que la voix de Chuck Billy couvrait un peu trop l'ensemble, mais cela s'est arrangé dès le troisième titre, et là, c'était parfait. Une set liste superbe, n'oubliant pas des albums tels Low ou The Gathering, un public bien chaud (dont une partie envahit la scène sur Over The Wall): une soirée parfaite! Merci mille fois Testament pour ce pur moment de bonheur!
A noter la performance de Nick Barker, impressionnant derrière son kit et qui tient son rôle avec talent et remplace la paire John Tempesta/ Louie Clemente avec une facilité déconcertante.
