pour ceux qui n'ont jamais vu en live steel prophet.... attention, je ne vous dis qu'une chose c'est que la tête d'affiche est loin d'être usurpée...

vivement ce fest , n'oubliez de rappeler à didier que c'est bientôt car au magic circle, il pensait que le prochain sword serait en novembre ou quelque chose comme ça.

Les annulations habituelles commencent...
After the last years cancelation on a dutch festival we weren´t surprised but sure we disappointed!!

But read the statement by yourself:

We're very sorry to inform you that Ravensthorn has officially broken up. A lot of personal issues and what not where involved in it. So, obviously we won't be making it to Germany. This was a VERY tough decision for us, but in the long run it's very much for the best. The split has been very amicable though, which is a good thing. We just could not continue as band as we were. We're all very sorry about this, we were really looking forward to playing the Swordbrothers festival. On a personal note, I have never been to Germany, or Europe at all for that matter and was really looking forward to playing there. Myself and Jeff West already have a new project in the works which hopefully we'll have something up on MySpace or somewhere on the internet ASAP. I can't go into a lot of detail as to the line up yet, but we're both very excited about it. Again, I apologize and take care.

Als weiterer Headliner kompettiert die US-Metal-Legende OMEN das Billing des am Samstag, dem 13.09.2008 in Andernach stattfindenden Swordbrothers Festivals.

Sie werden hierbei ihre schon länger als Headliner fest stehenden Landsleute von STEEL PROPHET unterstützen, welche mit einer Old-School-Show und dem zurück gekehrten Sänger Rick Mythiasin am Start sein werden.

Ferner am Start: Die schwedischen Metal-Rocker von BULLET, italienischer Epic Metal aus dem Hause HOLY MARTYR, SNAKE EYES (UK), die große bayerische Epik-Hoffnung CROM und dazu noch METALHEAD, STEELPREACHER und CONQUEST OF STEEL.

Um 11:00 geht es mit einer Metalbörse los und danach folgt das Bühnengewitter. Karten gibt es noch im Vorverkauf für 18 Euro, an der Abenkasse kostet es dann 22 Euro.

c'est ballot, en général j'aime ce fest car il n'y a que des groupes que j'ai jamais vu...
la j'en ai déjà vu les 2/3.... :(

Apparemment OMEN n'a pas pu faire le déplacement à cause de l'ouragan au Texas... :(
Unfortunately, due to the Hurricane that is battering our home state of Texas
our flights to Germany were canceled.
We tried everything humanly possible
to find a way to get to the show, but in the end it was impossible.

Personally, it is a very sad day for me as in almost 30 years of performing,
I have never missed a show.

Omen will be performing at HARDROCKERS FESTIVAL in POLAND on
September 27th.
I have spoken with promoter Bart Gabriel and we will
be offering free admission to anyone with a ticket stub or wrist band from
SwordBrothers festival that wishes to attend Hardrockers.

Omen would like apolgize for any inconvenience and hope to Bang Heads
and share a Beer with you in Poland.

C'était putain de sublime. Comme d'habitude, quoi. Le Swordbrothers c'est comme le Keep It True mais avec plus de place et un meilleur son.


Faut que je me motive pour faire un petit CR, mais j'ai plein de boulot !
