Axel Rudi Pell, nouvel album

Pas encore de titre, sortie prévue le 27 octobre
German guitarist AXEL RUDI PELL has issued the following update:
"Just would like to let you know that we will enter the studio on April 20th to start recording the next CD. I completed the writing process for all songs and I'm very proud to tell you, that the next record will be awesome! It will feature 10 songs, runs approximately 60 minutes and has NO intro... hahaha...! Also there will be NO cover version on it. I'll keep you updated with some more info and photos during the next coupla months."
AXEL RUDI PELL's new album will be released by SPV in Germany on October 24 and in the rest of Europe on October 27. Release dates for other territories will be confirmed very soon.

c'est vraiment un super chanteur! Il a vraiment une belle voix le salaud et on en redemande vindiou!

Sortie le 27 octobre.
According to a press release, "Tales Of The Crown" is a "haunting" studio album featuring ten brand-new compositions. "Our fans will get just the kind of songs they have come to know and expect from me and my band," says Pell, adding, "plus a few little innovations." Axel Rudi Pell is referring to the contemporary touch which some of his latest tracks feature, mainly in terms of rhythm. "But don't worry, these modern approaches are only gradual and don’t affect the typical flair of my songs."
"Tales Of The Crown" was recorded at Gelsenkirchen's Redhouse Studios by the tried-and-tested lineup consisting of Axel Rudi Pell, American vocalist Johnny Gioeli, keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg, bassist Volker Krawczak and drummer Mike Terrana. The album was produced by Axel Rudi Pell and sound engineer Charlie Bauerfeind, who also mixed the CD. Like its highly successful predecessor, the new LP's cover artwork was created by Colombian artist Felipe Machado Franco.

Ça doit être felipe machado qui a encore fait l'artwork de rudi pell! J'aime vraiment bien ce qu'il fait ce type! (les derniers iced earth, pyramaze, bailey...)

Pochette évidente pour Axel, mais moins belle que celle de "Mystica", pour ma part.

Perso je préfère largement ses pochettes d'avant (magic
ocean of times, kings and queens), mais depuis mystica, c'est pas la même saveur;
et j'espère un album plus costaud que mystica, un peu trop réchauffé à mon goût!

Je le trouve vraiment excellent mystica! le meilleur de la période avec Geoli....
La période avec Sotto est par contre la meilleure

Aie aie aie .....
Un nouvel album de Rudi Pell.
Moi j'en peux plus, j'ai laché l'affaire depuis Shadow Zone...
J'aime bien avant, mais là je suis blasé... c'est vraiment le terme.
même en live, à chaque fois il joue les 2 derniers albums et ca devient de plus en plus chiant....
Une intro chiante, un morceau speed , un mid-tempo , un autre speed, une ballade ... le tout x3 ....
Le riff de tel album de Rainbow ou Sabbath transformé en ligne de chant ou l'inverse...
Grosse production, de moins en moins d'inspiration.
A moins d'une surprise, je passe mon tour.

C'était vrai jusqu'a Masquerade Ball, mais depuis je trouve ça de moins en moins inspiré ...
Les derniers je les ai écouté 2 fois , à quoi bon acheter les suivants ?

Les deux derniers albums sont très bons (surtout Kings And Queens qui est mon préféré du groupe)
