Thrash Assault 4 (14/11/2009)

SODOM and LEGION OF THE DAMNED are among the confirmed bands for the Thrash Assault 4 festival, set to take place November 14, 2009 at Posthalle in Würzburg, Germany.
The festival billing is shaping up as follows:
SODOM (GER)
LEGION OF THE DAMNED (NL)
ROOT (CZ)
FUELED BY FIRE (USA)
SENTINEL BEAST (USA)

C'est cool qu'il fasse revenir Fueled by fire. C'était effectivement une grosse tuerie au KIT. Et quand on regarde les quelques morceaux du dvd tranquillement assis chez soi au chaud, on s'aperçoit que même sans l'ambiance du concert, ça tatane vraiment sévère et ultra carré.
Sentinel Beast, ça plaisante pas non plus.

Hi Friends,
for us it is a little embarassing to post this news, but BULLDOZER have cancelled their show at THRASH ASSAULT only two days after their confirmation. The bands says, that our announcement was not good enough for the status of a band like BULLDOZER and would have been “cheap” for the return of BULLDOZER after 20 years. Additionally they did not want to be announced in the same news as a band like BAPHOMET’S BLOOD. For them the announcement seemed to let them look like the openers of the festival. The band thinks that they got a big damage to their image. We as promoters can only say, that this is another case of megalomania and “Rockstardom” and we think that in the end this cancellation saved us from a lot of troubles. This is not very METAL at all. For BULLDOZER this would have been a great chance to return to their old fans after so many years, but it seems, that THRASH ASSAULT is not “professional” enough for them. We are going to search for a replacement band that will have less Rockstars and therefore more balls.

En tout cas, là on peut dire qu'ils se taillent une image à la hauteur de leur mondialissime réputation auprès des fans, bravo les mecs, super plan com !

Je sais pas trop...On m'a dit que le dernier riffait sévère... Faudrait que j'écoute!
Cette affiche me botte quand même moins que celle de l'an dernier... Trop classique comme tête d'affiche, et puis Necronomicon, je me déplacerais pas spécialement pour eux non plus, même si c'est sympa. Darkness on verra bien samedi ce que ça donne. Reste Fueled By Fire et Sentinel Beast... Verrais bien...

DARKNESS ça tue encore bien sur scène, leur prestation au KIT était excellente!

Ca approche! Y a des gens qui viennent en fin de compte?
Je me tatais avec Amon Amarth qui passe à Nancy le même jour avec Evile, mais maintenant qu'Evile ne jouera pas, le choix penche pour le Thrash Assault! Je me suis fait à cette affiche qui en fin de compte me botte plutôt bien, même si je suis dubitatif sur Legion et Sodom, malgré que ce soit toujours bon à prendre!

^ Mouais, pourquoi pas... Mais le prix, la salle et les têtes d'affiche me motivent pas trop. Il y a Necronomicon et Darkness surtout qui me bottent.
Si j'ai que ça à foutre et si j'ai du fric à claquer, j'en suis. Je verrai ça quelques jours avant.

Paradox remplacent Fueled By Fire.
Unfortunately FUELED BY FIRE have to cancel their show at Thrash Assault IV. There will be more info on the band's MySpace site very soon. The replacement will be our local heroes PARADOX, who with ?Riot Act? released one of the best speed/thrash albums of the last years.
Also LEGION OF THE DAMNED will record their show for an official Live DVD. Do not miss this unique chance to be part of it."

^ Putain, j'arrive pas à me motiver alors qu'avec Paradox en plus, ça devient sérieux.
Dommage qu'ils remplacent FBF, ça m'aurait bien dit de les revoir.
