Enfin des news d'AHAB, l'excellent groupe de funeral doom allemand avec Daniel Droste de MIDNATTSOL et l'ex-MIDNATTSOL, Christian Hector. Ils sont entrés en studio pour enregistrer le successeur du très océanique "The Call of the Wretched Sea" (sur le concept de Moby Dick). Le nouvel album sortira à la fin du printemps, début de l'été chez Napalm Records contiendra 7 titres sur le thème du naufrage de l'Essex: "Le 20 novembre 1820, l'Essex, baleinier de Nantucket, en pêche à près de 3 000 kilomètres dans l'ouest des Galapagos, est attaqué par un cachalot — les matelots présents estiment qu'il devait mesurer plus de vingt-cinq mètres pour un poids approximatif de quatre-vingts tonnes. Sous la violence de deux chocs successifs, l'Essex prend aussitôt de la gîte et sombre quelques heures plus tard." C'est l'histoire qui a influencé Herman Melville pour son roman "Moby Dick".

AHAB, the German funeral doom metal band featuring MIDNATTSOL guitarist Daniel Droste on guitar/vocals and ex-MIDNATTSOL guitarist Christian Hector, has set "The Divinity Of Oceans" as the title of its sophomore album, due late July via Napalm Records. The follow-up to 2006's "The Call of the Wretched Sea" contains seven songs and is based on the wreckage of the Essex.

Nautical Doomsters AHAB cast their net across the oceans and capture their fans with their impressive soundscape! The German quartet has now unveiled the first details of their upcoming album "The Boats Of The Glen Carrig".
The sensational artist Sebastian Jerke, who was also responsible for the latest album artwork from the likes of Zodiac, The Answer and My Sleeping Karma, created the cover artwork.

Un nouvel album annoncé pour début 2023. Interview en anglais de Corny, le batteur. (En passant il s´appelle véritablement Althammer ce qui littéralement signifie VieuxMarteau + le prénom Cornelius > plus doom, tu meurs).
