Krux DVD

KRUX pourraient sortir un DVD cette année, sur leur site web.
Sinon Mats Levén a 36 projets en parallèle, la routine quoi.
KRUX singer Mats Levén (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN/THERION) has issued the following update:
Hay hay,
Here's an update on what I'm actually doing...
KRUX - We played 2 shows this weekend and it was great as always. Big thanks to Per Wiberg (OPETH) who handled the keyboard duties, Dr.Carl is still in Ethiopia.
Since both Leif (Edling, CANDLEMASS) and Fredrik (Åkesson, Opeth) are really busy touring this year, we might not do any more shows until 2010 again. The plan is to write material this year and start recording the third album next winter. Hopefully we can release it by spring 2010 and then play some festivals in the summer.
We might release some live stuff on DVD later this year, we have 3-4 shows recorded. If so, we'll sell them exclusively on our homepages.
We're almost sold out on all the merchandise now and we won't print any more t-shirts. We have a few signed Krux II CDs and DVDs left, plus some black/orange t-shirts in L/XL.

AMASEFFER - The guys are working on the 2nd album right now, I hope to record my vocals later this year.
DOGFACE - Martin called me and said there were a couple of labels interested in releasing a third album. We released a couple of albums a number of years ago, a studio project really. I'll meet Martin this week when I'm in Gothenburg and discuss what we should do...
CRUCIFIED BARBARA - The release party for the album is on Sunday the 8th at Mosebacke in Stockholm.
Reviews have been really good so far.
OPERA DIABOLICUS - As far as I know, the album's mixed and ready for a release later this year.
JUPITER SOCIETY - I'll sing on a couple of songs on the new release as well, should be done in a few months.
More??? - Working on my solo stuff when I have the time...
Right now I'm working on a cool project with a Finnish guitar player, more info later.
I've previously recorded 3 songs with Lasse from Candlemass for his blues album. Hopefully we'll record the rest later this year."

dommage qu'il gâche son talent dans THERION, mais la sortie d'un nouveau dvd de KRUX est une bonne chose!

Il gâche son talent dans Therion ? Et Son of the Staves of Time, c'est quoi ?
DVD et projets intéressants en tout cas, faut que je me penche plus attentivement sur Krux.

oui il gâche son talent dans therion car sa voix est tellement noyée sous des tonnes de glucose et d'effets sonores qu'on n'entend même plus que c'est un humain qui chante. Dans KRUX au moins il a plus de place pour s'exprimer.

Je trouve pas, je sais pas il chante pas de la même façon dans l'un et l'autre, mais de toute façon Lemuria/Sirius B et Gothic Kabbalah je les trouve pas du tout glucose. Bon en tout cas je trouve que Mats Leven est ce qui arrivé de meilleur à Therion

Ca c'est sur. Ce gars est un chanteur de talent, au moins on est d'accord là dessus.

Ouais enfin au moins ça s'est règlé
J'irais pas jusqu'à dire qu'il gache sont talent, parce que sur la tournée Lemuria, quand il était (presque) seul au commande, il en imposait quand même. Après c'est sure que depuis que Snowy Shaw est arrivé, il est un peu noyé dans la masse, parce qu'il en impose aussi vocalement le Snowy. Enfin effectivement, c'est pas plus mal qu'il ait arrêté Therion. Ils ont deux énormes vocalistes, et il peut se consacrer à Krux...et à ses 8000 projets

Je ne suis pas d'accord, et j'aime les 2 groupes.
Si tu prends un morceau comme "Blood of Kingu" par exemple, c'est du pur heavy metal qui n'a rien de glucose, où la voix de Levén n'est absolument pas noyée mais au contraire bien mise en avant. Je ne sais pas si t'as écouté cet album pour dire ça.
D'ailleurs, à certains moments dans Krux la voix de Levén ressort même un peu moins que dans Therion, notamment lorsque les claviers et le son très lourd des basses prennent toute la place. Donc tout ça est très relatif...
si t'arrêtais de dire de la merde des fois Nathagnôle!
