Quelques infos sur le prochain album des Allemands :
"CARNAGE VICTORY" Update
Just to keep you guys out there posted about the new record:
The work for the new album ist
still in progress. We had a great time recording "CARNAGE VICTORY" in Kempten/GER at Music Factory Studios with
Christian Schmid and R.D. Liapakis (who also added some guest vocals).
At the moment the whole material is being mixed by Achim Köhler and
the final mastering should be done until March/April. Not all song
titles are definitely fixed yet and also the tracklist may still vary.
The album will include the follwing smashers:
- CHARGE INTO OVERKILL (which we alread played live at Thrash Assault Festival)
- CARNAGE VICTORY
- BROKEN RITES
- METAL UNDERGROUND
- CROSSES STAINED WITH BLOOD
- THE SKELETON KEY
- DON'T BREAK THE OATH
Unfortunately we are not able to announce a relase date yet, so stay tuned
for more details soon to come.
And check us out live on one the several
upcoming gigs and festival shows, where we surely will perform one or
another new song as well!
good news, même si , quand aucune date n'est annoncée (qui parie qu'il ne sortira pas avant un an.... )

Des nouvelles fraiches!
Sacred Steel have just signed a new worldwide deal with their old partners in crime Massacre Records. CARNAGE VICTORY will be out to the masses on Massacre Records before the end of 2009. There are already plans for a limited boxset of the album including several extras and goodies. Details soon to come...
et surtout:
We will record our full show at the upcoming Queens Of Metal Festival. Sacred Steel will perform on Friday 19 June. The whole set is gonna be released as a special bonus DVD together with the uocoming album CARNAGE VICTORY on Massacre Records.

Ça me fait penser qu'il faudrait que je me penche sur les albums après Wargod. Il y a des riffs et des compos d'enfer sur ces albums, mais Gerrit Mutz n'est pas du tout au point. Tout ce que je connais de la "période récente", c'est la chanson Sacred bloody Steel.

Surprenante pochette de la part de ce groupe (paysage moderne).
Je croyais que c'était la pochette du prochain My Darkest Hate (groupe de death des deux anciens guitaristes du groupe )

Je pense que le dernier, hammer of destruction, est mon favori moi, après l'intouchable Wargods of Metal evidemment !
Cool pour le dvd bonus, moi qui ai toujours hésité a me prendre leur double live/dvd...

Sortie repoussée au 30/10. Apparemment la date "release party" du 22/10 s'est bien déroulée (sans moi ) malgré l'annulation de Lanfear, remplacé par Watch me bleed.
L'album sera dispo sous différents formats:
- CD + DVD (live QOM 09, Making of + liveclip Summerbreeze 09)
- LP (black vinyl, fold out Cover, ltd. 300)
- LP (clear vinyl + patch, fold out Cover, ltd. 100) (dispo seulement auprès du groupe ou chez MDD et Nuclear Blast)
- LP (green vinyl + patch, fold out Cover, ltd. 100) (idem)
- Boxset (CD+DVD, T-Shirt, 7"-Single, Dogtag, signed Photocard)
On va plutôt attendre d'avoir deux morceaux en entier avant de se prononcer.

Non il est à 32,50 euros fdp compris sur le site du groupe!
Autrement, l'album est très bon! Le son est plus "moderne" que celui de Hammer Of Destruction, moins "roots allemand" disons... Rappelons que Harris Johns était aux manettes... Beaucoup de titres bien rapides et pas de titre doom à la "Black Church" comme sur le précédent.
