Some days ago some great news arrived from Emil: "The vocals for the first song are recorded now" and he added some pics from the recording that can be found in the photosection. So the pre-production of the follow up the the great debut album has started! Today Piet sent me a teaser of the first song ("The Ordeal";) like the band did for their first release. Savage Circus revient, donc sans Thomen Stauch (mais avec Mike Terrana à la place

SAVAGE CIRCUS haben den Nachfolger ihres Debüts "Dreamland Manor" fertig. Er hört auf den Namen "Of Doom And Death" und wird ab dem 23.10.2009 erhätlich sein. Einen ersten vorproduzierten Song kann man sich mit 'The Ordeal' auch schon auf der MySpace-Seite der Band anhören.

Pas vraiment de différence avec le premier album je trouve, toujours très proche du Blind Guardian 90's avec le son et les choeurs d'Iron Savior. Bien foutu et efficace, même si je préférais Thomen Stauch à la batterie.

Bien plus power et rentre-dedans que les derniers Blind Guardian, cet album est rempli de tueries, même si les ressemblances avec B.G. sont nombreuses et parfois à la limite du plagiat !

Il faut que j'écoute ça rapidement ! J'avais bien aimé le premier.

Tu peux l'écouter sur Deezer, et à première vue ça confirme mes impressions précédentes qu'il n'y a quasiment pas de différence avec le premier album, hormis une ballade et une instrumentale/outro.

Du pur Blind Guardian époque Imaginations à la sauce Iron Savior encore une fois. Je ne peux pas dire que j'apprécie autant que le BG des 90's, même si ça s'écoute bien.

j'ai l'album depuis peu, je confirme c'est le même en couleurs !

Mais en moins bien réussi il me semble, le 1er avait plus de morceaux marquants je trouve, bon il me manque quelques écoutes pour un avis définitif... En tout cas ça bourrine dans tous les sens c'est clair ! prod très voire trop puissante... Enfin c'est plutôt pas mal foutu même si c'est pas un album qui va tourner des mois sur ma platine.

J'avais beaucoup apprécié le premier, et comme j'aime bien Persuader et Iron Savior bin je vais me le prendre

J'ai commencé à l'écouter.... sans plus pour le moment c'est quand même difficile d'y rentrer des le début.. y a des plan un peu alambiqué enfin comme blind guardian tout compte fait... Je réécouterais plus tard...

Cela dit je préfère largement Persuader et de très loin.

Piet Sielck affirme que le groupe est en pause voire arrêté, et ça ne lui manque pas, car il préfère les choses plus simples et trouve que c'était un peu trop "artificiel" :

“Right now I don’t have any specific plans for Savage Circus; it’s on ice. The album was okay, but it also wasn’t that encouraging to be honest. I started up Iron Savior again and I want to do this 100%, so we’ll see what happens with Savage Circus. Iron Savior is what I feel that I want to do; Savage Circus was something that was, in a way, artificial. It’s not really the kind of music that I want to do. I can do it, I enjoy doing it, and it was challenging for me to write all the songs for it, but I feel closer to the more straightforward metal sound of Iron Savior.”

ouais on se demande pourquoi il a créer ce groupe alors... je pense qu'il réagirai autrement sur ce groupe avait fait un tabac... j'avais bien aimé le 1er, moins le second, copie conforme en moins bien.

Perso j'ai du mal à voir Savage Circus sans Thomen Stauch...

Je trouve aussi que ça n'a plus de sens aujourd'hui, dans la mesure où c'était avant tout son idée de monter un groupe qui ferait du Blind Guardian 90's. Au moins maintenant avec le retour d'Iron Savior la situation est plus claire.

Et ça tombe bien, Thomen Stauch vient de réintégrer le groupe, puisque Piet Sielck s'est fait la malle. Du coup ils sont à nouveau actifs.

SAVAGE CIRCUS, the multinational project featuring Jens Karlsson (vocals; PERSUADER) and Emil Norberg (lead guitar; PERSUADER), has issued the following update:

"After quite a while of silence from SAVAGE CIRCUS, we're again ready to drop some news your way.

"Some of you might have thought 2009's 'Of Doom And Death' was the last thing you'd hear from this band but this is simply not the case.

"After some structural changes in the band, we are ready with a new lineup and we are at the moment in the midst of writing new material for the third album wich should be due at the end of this year.

"Anyway, I suppose you are curious about the new lineup, so here goes.

"And finally on mighty drumming Mr. Thomen Stauch [ex-BLIND GUARDIAN]!

"Yeah, that's right, he's back!

"As written, new stuff is being written as we speak and we should be able to let you guys hear some clips in some months from now and we'll try to keep you updated along the way as we make progress on the new, for-now-untitled album."

IRON SAVIOR mainman Piet Sielck left SAVAGE CIRCUS last year. He explained in a statement, "I am proud of what has been achieved, but I just cannot imagine myself doing songwriting and production more or less completely alone for a third time. This has drained too much energy in the past, which was needed in more important spots. I am not willing to make such a sacrifice again."

Mais si mais si! Si c'est pour refaire un album de la trempe du premier je suis pour!

sans Piet Sielck ça peut peut-être le faire... mais moi je veux qu'ils se consacrent à Persuader qui est censé être leur projet principal. Maintenant s'ils relancent ce groupe qui d'après les interviews leur prennent du temps je suis pas prêt de réécouter l'un de mes groupes préféré un jour.

On peut espérer que quelqu'un saura les persuader de continuer

aux dernières nouvelles sur leur compte facebook, ils (persuader) enregistraient un nouvel album je pense non ?

Perso je préfère bien plus persuader à Savage circus mais bon...

J'y avais pas pensé mais c'est vrai que ça pourrait être gênant pour Persuader, d'autant que Savage Circus comptent sortir un album avant la fin de l'année, et ça ne serait pas forcément un bon calcul de sortir un album de Persuader dans le même laps de temps.

Surtout que Savage Circus je m'en cague ! Je veux Persuader
