John Sykes quitte Thin Lizzy

Alors que c'est lui qui avait remis en selle un line-up juste pour tourner...
Il veut se consacrer à nouveau à sa carrière solo.
Autant dire que pour Thin Lizzy ça sent la fin des haricots.
Il y a bien quelques mecs qui pourraient le remplacer, je pense à John Norum par exemple, mais bon ça n'aurait sans doute plus trop de sens (déjà que sans Lynott et Downey c'est forcément différent...). Ou alors ils rappellent Gary Moore et Brian Downey et là l'espoir fait vivre.
En attendant tous les concerts sont annulés.

THIN LIZZY's management company has confirmed to BLABBERMOUTH.NET that the band has parted ways with guitarist/vocalist John Sykes.
Commented THIN LIZZY guitarist and mainstay Scott Gorham: "It's been a very tough time of late for myself and the band, firstly with drummer Tommy Aldridge's injury and now the subsequent decision for John and the rest of the group to go their separate ways. I can only apologize to everyone who has supported us over the years, but we will be back up to full speed soon."
Gorham intends to announce future plans for THIN LIZZY shortly.
All previously announced THIN LIZZY shows will be canceled or postponed until further notice.
