A confirmer, mais apparemment un box set sous la forme d'un ampli contiendrait des raretés sur un cd, deux autres cds de lives rares, un dvd "Family jewels 3", un dvd de 2003 et un vinyl ! PLus un booklet de 164 pages, 3 lithos en noir et blanc et un poster de 77 !

According to U.K.'s Classic Rock magazine, there are unconfirmed reports that AC/DC will release a major box set later this year.

These reports suggest this will come in a box shaped as an amplifier — that actually works.

It will contain three CDs, two DVDs and a vinyl album. There will be a CD of studio rarities, two CDs featuring live rarities, a DVD disc of "Family Jewels Part 3" (1992-2009) and a DVD disc featuring a show from 2003 in Circus Krone, Germany. The vinyl album will have all the studio rarities.

In addition, there will be a 164-page book, plus loads of extras, such as three black-and-white lithographs of unpublished photos of the band in Albert Studio in 1977, a flyer for the 1976 "Lock Up Your Daughters" UK tour and a poster from the 1977 European "Let There Be Rock Tour".

AC/DC have posted another video teaser promoting their upcoming boxset, Backtracks, due out on November 10th via Sony Music Entertainment. Check it out below.

AC/DC recently launched a special website called ACDCBacktracks.com which tells fans that they'll be making an "exciting announcement on September 29th."

The rumored major box set is said to contain three CDs, two DVDs and a vinyl album, all containing previously unreleased studio and live rarities. The set will come in a working amplifier and also feature a book, flyer, poster and lithographs of never-before-seen photos.

OPLA !!! putain ça , ça risque d'être énorme, le dernier box qu'ils ont sorti 'plug me in" était franchemment sympa mais là ça à l'air d'être vraiment du lourd !!

J'ai déjà tout ou presque tout en bootleg, mais ce sera pas sans moi malgré le prix élevé ( entre 150 et 200 ). J'aurai préféré un dvd enregistré en 2009.

CD 1 – Studio Rarities

These are all of the songs that the band recorded throughout their career that appeared on Australian-only LP releases, movie soundtracks, 7" and 12" single releases, and CD "tour editions", etc. 12 of the 18 tracks are completely unique songs that have all been remastered to match the unparalleled sound quality of the rest of the Columbia AC/DC catalog reissues. The other 6 tracks are the original versions of classic AC/DC songs previously only available on the original Australian albums. Some restore seconds to the original fades, others restore guitar solos and choruses. All are highly sought-after collectibles and have never sounded this good!

Live At The Circus Krone 2003:

2003 was a banner year for AC/DC. One run of shows found the band returning to their roots – playing clubs and theaters where they thrilled fans with sweaty, stripped-down shows and even throwing in some rarities they hadn't played in years. j'ai le sentiment que AC/DC et entrain de nous prendre pour des vache a lait depuis quelque année a sortir tout plein de coffret en tout genre ( AC/DC nous fait du Meiden et Kiss qui eux sont extrément fort pour ce genre d'article)
aurait ils besoin d'argent ou alors ils veule tout sortir ce qu'ils ont en stock avent un éventuel retraite?

On est loin de Maiden ou Kiss, eux ils sortent de temps en temps un sacré coffret ou objet de raretés, pas des compils inutiles ou es brosses à dents ou couettes de lit ....

Et fais un effort sur l'orthographe stp, c'est dur à lire parfois, merci

Bon oui ça a l'air cool, mais hors de question à ce prix. Patientes deux/trois ans, tu le retrouveras 50€ moins cher à droite et gauche...

Euh ouais enfin si tu lis tout t'as aussi un ampli qui marche (pas utile pour jouer sur scène bien sur mais c'est pour l'objet collector) !

Cyco m'a fait ecouter quelques trucs, dont un morceau totalement inedit pour du AC/DC, un genre de vraie ballade, à l'intro pas commune pour eux:

Sinon, ils vont sortir le prochain dvd filmé à Buenos Aires:

According to 10Musica.com, AC/DC's three sold-out shows at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina on December 2, 3 and 6 (65,000 capacity each) will be filmed for a future DVD release. Additional footage at the stadium will be shot on Saturday, December 5 without the presence of an audience.

AC/DC arrived in Buenos Aires on Sunday, November 29.

Fans d'Iron Man et d'AC/DC, voilà une nouvelle et une video qui devrait vous mettre de bonne humeur en ce froid matin. Et aussi vous réveillez ! Car Marvel a mis en ligne le clip de Shoot to Thrill du légendaire groupe, accompagné d'images issues d'Iron Man 2. Les extraits du film ne sont dans l'ensemble pas nouveau car déjà diffusé dans la bande-annonce, mais il est bon de voir Iron Man et War Machine dézingué joyeusement de l'ennemi avec du bon rock en arrière-plan...




Et nous devrions avoir droit à du AC/DC dans les salles de cinéma, puisque Marvel Studios et Columbia Pictures ont annoncé leur alliance pour le film. L'album « AC/DC : Iron Man 2 » sera disponible le lundi 19 avril 2010 (aux USA), et reprendra 15 grands classiques du groupe. Amazon.com devrait par ailleurs proposer une version collector de l'album.

AC/DC guitarist Malcolm Young has confirmed to Classic Rock magazine that the band is working on the follow-up to 2008's "Black Ice". But he said fans will likely have to wait longer than expected, after singer Brian Johnson suggested there would be new material next year.

"You know what Brian's like. He just says things and then walks away," Malcolm said. "It'll be a little while — a year or two anyway.

He added, "I've been doing some jamming on some song ideas but I do that all the time, as do the rest of the band. We are still working. But we had a long rest between 'Stiff Upper Lip' and 'Black Ice', so I think we need a couple of years to recuperate and work on it a bit more."
