Paragon "reformation"

J'ai mis des guillemets, car pour les fans de metal allemand comme Bib ils sont simplement revenus à leur line-up du "classique"
Law of the Blade.
C'est Norde qui va être content.
German thrashers PARAGON have issued the following update:
"After all these years and constant songwriting we felt a little bit tired. After a few months break we had the idea to bring back the heroes of the past. And as there will be the 20th anniversary of the band next year, to plan some special shows.
We're trying to return to the 2002 lineup that wrote, recorded and performed the metal masterpiece Law Of The Blade. Therefore we had to part ways with our current bass player Dirk and our second guitarist Günny.
We would like to play the whole Law Of The Blade record live. Interested? The time to book the band is now!"

Ah c'est bon ça c'est clair ! Je trouvais le dernier en date Screenslaves, un peu sans saveur, il ne m'avait pas emballé des masses.
J'espère donc qu'il y aura un nouvel album avec ce "nouveau"
line-up !
En plus le bassiste Jan Bünning est de retour !

Ils cherchent un guitariste :
German power metallers PARAGON have issued the following update from bassist Jan Bünning:
"Are there no guitar players out there that want to join a band with a record deal??? We want YOU to join us for songwriting, studio recordings and live shows.
We are signed by Massacre Records and plan to enter the studio second half of this year for a release in early 2011 and more live and festival shows.
You should be able to play tight rhythm (on click), leads as well as some classic guitar and if you are into bands like JUDAS PRIEST, METAL CHURCH, MERCYFUL FATE, OVERKILL, SLAYER, IRON MAIDEN, you are our man.
Perfect would be somebody near Hamburg or at least someone who is able to rehearse here in Hamburg with us. So if you are interested please contact us here on MySpace or write to

Ils n'avaient pas vraiment splitté, c'est juste le line-up qui est revenu quelques années en arrière là.

Changements de guitaristes :
German power metallers PARAGON have issued the following update from bassist Jan Bünning:
"Long time no news, but here we go: (guitarist) Martin (Christian) has quit Paragon. After all these years it was a really hard decsion for him. Still, for personal reasons he was not able to give 100% for the band anymore.
Of course his decision has hit us hard but we still feel the fire of heavy metal burning in our hearts. To be honest, it was not easy to find two suitable shredders. However, the search is finally over.
Our new Paragon brothers are David Wieczorek (ex-STORMWARRIOR) and Wolfgang Tewes (also BLACK HAWK and WHEELS OF STEEL).
After countless rehearsals over the last month we are sure that this choice represents the strongest lineup the band ever had. We truly feel like a real band again and we are looking forward to play some shows and start writing the next album togehter.
The first show we will do is the mighty Swordbrothers festival where we will play a "best of" set with songs from most of our albums.
Metal is the law!"
