We are working on some of the first new Dio releases that will hopefully be in stores in the Fall and in time for the holidays! The first is a Double CD of live Dio that has never been released and the second is a limited edition statue of Ronnie made by a company called Knucklebonz. It will be limited to 3,000. Check out their amazing website! They have done statues for AC/DC, Queen, Jimi Hendrix and more!

Sinon pour la statue ils se sont associés avec la famille Dio et une partie des bénéfices sera reversée à leur association :

The first official release from Niji Entertainment Group, the label formed by the late Ronnie James Dio and his wife/manager Wendy Dio, will be "Dio At Donington UK: Live 1983 & 1987". Due on November 9, the two-CD deluxe digipak comes with a booklet filled with rare photos from both concerts. It also includes both "All Access" backstage laminates from 1983 and 1987.
1983 was the first time DIO played in the United Kingdom and the band's first show just happened to be the legendary Monsters Of Rock event.
"Dio At Donington UK: Live 1983 & 1987" features material that was recorded on two different tours — the "Holy Diver" trek from 1983 and the "Dream Evil" tour from 1987.

On apprend aussi que pas mal d'autres choses vont sortir en 2011 pour les fans, beaucoup de rééditions vinyles et DVD, ainsi qu'un coffret de bootlegs :
In 2011, the Niji Entertainment Group has many other Dio-related projects planned, including an extensive vinyl box set (an idea that Ronnie himself came up with), "For The Record: The Complete Dio Vinyl Collection", which will feature 16 LPs in a deluxe carrying case, with "all-access tour laminates" from every tour. All of the LPs will be on 180-gram colored vinyl. Also, being released for the first time on DVD will be "Super Rock Japan 1985" (which was only ever released in Japan on VHS). Another forthcoming DVD release will be a collection of every Dio MTV promotional video, plus live concert footage including bonus features, including interviews with Ronnie, his band, and crew. A Dio bootleg box set is on the horizon as well, featuring never-before-released sound board recordings and audience recordings. Other releases from the Niji Entertainment Group in 2011 will include all four RAINBOW Dio-era LPs in their original gatefold sleeves on 180-gram colored vinyl, and all three ELF LPs will be issued on 180-gram colored vinyl. 2011 will also see deluxe reissues from Tim "Ripper" Owens, a fantastic new CD from Oni Logan (LYNCH MOB vocalist), and Rowan Robertson (DIO guitarist), as well as live ELF.

C'était à prévoir, sympa en tout cas. Du coup en passant au Swordbrothers sous la tente merch on a croisé pas mal de bootlegs de H & H et de Dio en cd's et DVD.

ça va le faire comme avec les plus grands (Queen ou Nirvana), tout les ans à la même période (pendant les fêtes bien sur!), on va se taper le coffret Dio, le DVD Dio, le Box CD/DVD avec Pins et Patch, le LP, LP Pic Disc etc etc....

Ouaip, ceci dit là c'est quand même un peu différent puisque ça sort sur le label de Ronnie & Wendy (Niji Entertainment Group), dont une partie sert à financer leur fonds contre le cancer.

En ce moment je suis à bloc sur RAINBOW et BLACK SAB période DIO !!!
Je me suis aussi acheté le live at DONNINGTON.... Vraiment un grand chanteur ce petit lutin !!

Moi j'ai du mal avec les interludes/ reprises et extraits de chanson de 1 refrain et demi. Typique des artistes des 70's, mais moi avoir juste le pré refrain de Temple of the King ca me frustre énormément.

Je trouve aussi et surtout le 83. J'aime bien le 87 mais Goldie est quand même moins bon que Campbell. Par contre, en 87 j'avais fait les 2 dates allemandes qui précédaient Donnington, c'est donc pratiquement le show auquel j'ai assisté. C'est donc un peu particulier pour moi, sentimentalement parlant.

J'ai acheté le live WE ROCK. Pour la partie CD ça va encore mais le DVD c'est vraiment une grosse bouse. Ce qui m'énerve le plus c'est le chant qui est en décalage avec les images. C'est insuportable.
Il y a des extraits de différents concerts, mais un line up qui fait peine a voir c'est avec (je crois) Simon wright à la batterie et un gros gratteux avec un bandana...C'est pas terrible du tout !!!!

Cette sortie récente est un bootleg en fait, avec des allures officielles.
Quant au guitariste que tu évoques, c'est Tracy G.
il a eu comme guitaristes Graig Goldie, V.Campbell ... mais là y a rien sur le livret ?
