Selon le site Web Fakt.pl, Adam "Nergal" Darski, le guitariste/chanteur de Behemoth frappé de leucémie , a été réadmis à la division d'hématologie de l'Uniwersyteckie Centrum Kliniczne (UCK) à Gdansk parce qu'il a développé une infection six semaines après avoir subi une greffe de moelle osseuse.

"Le patient a été emmené à l'hôpital de nouveau parce qu'il ne s'est pas soucié du soin approprié pour lui," d'après le docteur Maria Bieniaszewska, le professeur adjoint dans le Département d'Hématologie.

On ne sait pas encore si cela affectera la greffe de Nergal et combien de temps il restera à l'hôpital. Dans sa condition, quand le système immunitaire est affaibli, de telles infections pourraient même être mortelles.

Je pense qu'il s'en tape de sa credibilité ! il va gagner plus de thunes dans ce genre d'emission que durant toute la carrière de Behemoth !

oui et c'est pas le premier à jouer au vilain dans un groupe de black ou de death, tout en se faisant de la thune dans des trucs de ce genre..

J'attends le film polonais retraçant cette success story rock'n'roll.

En même temps il faut bien payer son traitement pour sa leucémie... en Pologne, la sécurité sociale ca doit pas être la même que la française...

Pour le coup, la sécu polonaise est pas mal foutue, donc il a pas de factures à régler.

Jouer au vilain, c'est du show, il n'y a que quelques gamins de 15 ans qui prennent ça au sérieux. C'est de l'entertainment ! Je trouve qu'il a entièrement raison de se faire de la thune comme il peut. La musique, c'est comme le sport, on sait pas combien de temps ça va durer. Et ça lui rapporte pas des milles et des cents non plus.

Il a raison, quitte à ce que des gars se fassent du fric sur son nom, autant qu'il passe aussi à la caisse.

Stéphane n'a qu'à faire un truc qui choque l'opinion française (détruire une bible, on s'en cogne ici) et sortir avec une pop star, et le tour est joué ! C'est pour ces raisons que Nergal est connu du grand public. C'est pas du tout une critique, ça n'enlève rien à la qualité du groupe, mais s'il a sa tronche dans les tabloids polonais c'est pas parce que "Evangelion" défouraille.

Nergal fait la une du Newsweek polonais à présent!
L'émission de TV réalité et ses accrochages fréquents avec une partie de l'Eglise polonaise semblent lui avoir procuré une publicité non négligeable, et on dirait que les médias ont trouvé un bon créneau à exploiter (tant qu'il est chaud).

Nergal vient de se faire virer du show TV (du moins après la fin de la saison actuelle) par le PDG de la chaine, en raison de provocations pendant un concert d'un autre groupe, et suite à une compagne des institutions catholiques contre lui :

Poland's state TV network has given in to demands by the Roman Catholic church and promised not to re-employ a "death metal" rock star on its most popular music talent show.

"In connection with press reports about Adam Darski's behavior during a recent Warsaw club concert... his provocative behavior showed a lack of respect for religious convictions, as well as for the sick and handicapped," Polish TV's president, Juliusz Braun, said on 13 October.

The statement was issued after reports that Darski, whose stage name is Nergal, had appeared as a priest and pretended to cure a handicapped person during a Warsaw concert by his band, BEHEMOTH.

Braun told Poland's Catholic information agency, KAI, that he understood the feelings of Christians who had signed letters of protest against the star, and now believed it had been a "mistaken decision" to employ Darski, who would not be appearing in future shows.

According to TheNews.pl, Poland's public TV broadcaster TVP has announced that BEHEMOTH frontman Adam "Nergal" Darski will not return as a judge on the second season of the hit singing competition "The Voice Of Poland" after another alleged incident of insulting religious sentiment in Poland.

"Adam Darski will not be given his own program on TVP, nor will he be a juror in a second series of 'The Voice Of Poland', even if the network decides to commission one [a second series]," said spokesperson for TVP, Joanna Stempien-Rogalinska.

Earlier this month, footage emerged of Nergal pretending to be a priest and performing a mock miracle during an October 1 concert at a Warsaw club by the Polish rock band TIMES NEW ROMAN.

Footage published across the Polish media showed members of TIMES NEW ROMAN on stage in wheelchairs. The musicians were attended by nurses and dressed in pajamas. Following an announcement that the men could not play, Darski appeared dressed as a priest. After blessing the musicians, the men rose from their wheelchairs and proceeded with the concert.

The footage prompted a swift response from the chairman of TVP. In a statement, Chairman Juliusz Braun described the incident as "provocative behavior, showing a lack of respect not only for religious beliefs, but also for illnesses and the disabled."

Braun has also asked Darski and the producer of "The Voice Of Poland" to explain themselves

The last episode of the current season of "The Voice Of Poland" will air in the first week of December.
