Gun Barrel ont sorti un 4ème album chez LMB, "Outlaw Invasion", toujours à mi-chemin entre MOTORHEAD et TANK mais passé dans le moule allemand, tout en "finesse" donc.
Je l'ai acheté. Pas terrible. Très décevant par rapport aux deux précédents. Assez mou.

"The band needs more and more time and I had to make a decision how to go on in life. Unfortunately this means I had to leave GUN BARREL and say farewell to all of you rockers." so Xaver.
Toni, Rolf and Tomcat wish all the best for his future and will never forget all the things the guys went through together.
A new man is already on duty and will be presented very soon.

Ils ont un nouveau chanteur, enfin si vous voulez traduire
ein neuer, fester Sänger wurde in SILVER gefunden. Nach etlichen Tests sind wir der Meinung, daß Silver DER Mann für uns ist. Die Stimmung der Band ist super und wir können es kaum erwarten in allen Belangen los zu legen. Wir danken all den Sängern, die sich bei uns vorgestellt haben. Es war jedes mal eine klasse Probe mit Euch. Wir wünschen Euch viel Erfolg bei Euren anderen Projekten oder neuen Bands. An dieser Stelle noch einmal ein besonderes Dankeschön an Detlef Kornath. Durch deine spontane Hilfe konnten wir alles durchziehen was wir vorhatten. ROCKT GB

je 'ai bien aimé cet album perso Un peu trop linéaire, mais dans le genre mid tempo, ça envoie bien.
Ils sortent leur premier DVD, pour les fans de Motörhead à l'allemande à moustaches (oui je caricature).
"Gunniversary" est le premier DVD publié par les allemands de Gun Barrel. Il est sorti le mois dernier et en voici le contenu...

As a bonus there are all music videos ever recorded by the band, some very funny outtakes and an introduction of all band members. And of course there are also some easter eggs, but you have to search for them on your own!

Un certain Patrick Sühl, qui a joué dans d'obscurs groupes allemands jusque là...
GUN BARREL haben einen neuen Sänger: Patrick Sühl, er ist auch bei den Bands PANTALEON, SCHLAGERMETALL, JUDAS RISING und TRAVELLIN MAN aktiv.
Er ersetzt Sänger Silver, der seit Sommer 2009 bei GUN BARREL hinterm Mikro stand.

Vu en live y a pas longtemps, le nouveau assure vraiment bien niveau voix et présence scénique même si cela ne vaut pas leur chanteur décédé

ça fait longtemps que je n'ai plus écouté ce groupe mais j'aimais bien leur chanteur grognard justement... c'est celui qui est décédé?

J'aime bien ce groupe qui me fait un tantinet penser à un autre allemand du genre Paragon. Ils étaient signés chez Remedy je sais pas s'ils y sont encore, en tout cas je suis persuadé que c'est toujours notre fidèle Piet Sielck aux commandes de la prod.

Non c'est pas leur premier chanteur qui est décédé mais son remplacant : Xaver Drexler , il a enregistré 2 albums avec eux dans la deuxieme moitié des années 2000 me semble.
