Leur 5ème album sort le 9 août.

Florida metallers TRIVIUM have set "In Waves" as the title of their fifth studio album, tentatively due on August 9 via Roadrunner Records.

TRIVIUM's follow-up to 2008's "Shogun" was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with the production/mixing team of Colin Richardson (MACHINE HEAD, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, SLIPKNOT, FEAR FACTORY) and Martin "Ginge" Ford, along with engineer Carl Bown.

During an appearance on a recent edition of the Metal Injection Livecast, TRIVIUM guitarist/vocalist Matt Heafy stated about the forthcoming CD, "We've been writing this same record for a year and a half. We demoed it for eight months. . . [but] when we actually started the record, it took us about three months or so of tracking and it's gonna take maybe two months to mix, and Colin and the team are working on that right now."

On the new album title and artwork:

"We've been working on the album's art almost for about a year now with… There's a bunch of different people involved with all the different stages of the art."

C'était déjà le cas sur l'album précédent hein, et moi je préférais largement quand il faisaient leur Metallica Mais je chopperai sûrement cet alboume

Sympa ce titre, ils assument leur côté djeunz et tant mieux J'ai hâte d'écouter 'lalbum, je suis un grand fan du précédent

en fait ils faisait du"metallica" d'une epoque ou le groupe lui même(metallica) ne faisait plus du metallica

Donc si je comprends bien, Metallica faisait du Trivium quand ceux-ci ne faisaient plus du Metallica?

en fait metallica faisait du trivium avant trivium mais sans en avoir conscience,se qui a donné a trivium l'idee de faire du metallica a la sauce trivium mais comme metallica n'en faisait déjà plus (st anger) ils(trivium) ont repris le creneau.
c'est clair non ?

A two-disc special edition will also be available. It features five bonus tracks, plus a DVD with a 40-minute, behind-the-scenes documentary, as well as an exclusive concert filmed in a warehouse located in Orlando, Florida, which is the band's stomping grounds. This concert features the first performances of tracks from "In Waves", along with TRIVIUM classics.

Trivium fait du doom maintenant ?? en tout cas ils vont tout droit à l'echec commercial avec une pochette comme ça !

La question est surtout de savoir quelle est cette chose sur la pochette! Des avis? (à part un caca fumant avec des épines)

Bon, avec du recul, ce titre se laisse écouter mais est quand même assez faible et peu travaillé, par rapport aux titres de Shogun. J'espère que le reste de l'album sera plus intéressant

c'est un morceau un peu "facile" mais j'aime bien, le chant core est limité sur les choeurs donc ça me va

Rassure moi c'est pas indispensable? Enfin ce que j'ai pu écouter, ça sonne comme du Metallica avec une très grosse touche moderne...

Pas mal ce titre. Ils ont arrêté le metalcore ?
