Du très bon Dream Theater mais Mike Mangini n'apporte rien. Il joue beaucoup plus simple que Portnoy. Dommage vu son bagage.

J'ai lu dans rockhard que Portnoy voulait revenir, mais pour le groupe c'était trop tard vu que Mangini s'était bien investi dans l'album et qu'il a même quitté son boulot de prof de musique pour eux. Je trouve cela respectueux de la part du groupe et un peu surprenant de la part de Portnoy que je ne voyais pas changer d'avis aussi vite. 
Après, si Portnoy insiste, je vois mal Mangini rester longtemps dans le groupe.

Mike Portnoy préfère ne pas commenter pour éviter que cela ne soit déformé et utilisé contre lui... Pas plus con ! Même si du coup ça gâche le l'effet du gars qui a posé la question ! 
If you don't know the back story on the whole Dream Theater/Mike Portnoy saga by now, you won't appreciate the absolute awkwardness of Portnoy being asked what he thought of the new Dream Theater material on last night's (Friday, August 5) edition of Eddie Trunk's "Friday Night Rocks" radio show on New York's Q104.3 FM.
"It's very difficult for me to hear," he said. "Nobody wants to see their ex-wife of 25 years with a new husband moving into the house that you built for 25 years. It's a painful thing for me to hear and see. A Dream Theater without me was never in the plan; I never expected that. But they've chosen to move on and I just have to kind of sit on the sidelines and watch and listen. I did hear the song and I heard an excerpt of another song [from the forthcoming Dream Theater album]. And I guess I'll reserve comment on those just because whatever I say — whether it be good, bad or indifferent — it's probably gonna come across wrong and it will be completely dissected and misinterpreted. So let's leave it at 'no comment.'"
Dream Theater's new album, A Dramatic Turn Of Events, will be released on September 13 via Roadrunner Records.

Speaking to MusicRadar.com, guitarist John Petrucci gave a track-by-track breakdown of the new Dream Theater album, A Dramatic Turn of Events. You can check out an excerpt from the interview below.
"Going into this album, I felt a tremendous sense of responsibility," said Petrucci. "When Mike Portnoy left the band, I think it put a big question mark in the minds of a lot of fans because they saw him as a very big figure in Dream Theater. So I owed it to those people to show them that everything was grounded, intact and extremely creative within the band.
“As it was the first time I was the sole producer for Dream Theater, it presented a challenge. But I thrive on challenges – I feel as though that’s when I do some of my best work."
