ORPHANED LAND's December 9 and December 10, 2010 concerts at Reading 3 in Tel Aviv, Israel were professionally filmed and recorded for an upcoming DVD release. The Israeli progressive folk metal masters were joined at both shows by Steven Wilson of PORCUPINE TREE. Also appearing on December 9 was PARADISE LOST guitarist Greg Mackintosh; famous Israeli singer Yehuda Poliker performed with ORPHANED LAND on December 10. Poliker reportedly inspired the band to choose the name ORPHANED LAND from the lyrics of one of his songs.

Commented ORPHANED LAND have vocalist Kobi Farhi: "After a long process of editing and filming, we can let you see a small glimpse of our debut DVD titled 'The Road To Or Shalem'. This was a fantastic show where we celebrated our 20th anniversary with lots of fans who came from all over the world to Tel-Aviv.

"For those of you who haven't noticed, after 20 years of hard work, you have to pay attention — as the rise of Middle Eastern metal has begun!"

Excellente news, j'adore Mabool , un album fabuleux.

Par curiosité je viens de voir que "Shalem" en hébreu signifie "à son comble".

La danseuse libanaise d'ORPHANED LAND aurait reçu des menaces de mort par des personnes du Hezbollah pour avoir embrassé le chanteur israélien sur scène au HELLFEST, bon l'article est très orienté pro israélien mais ça n'enlève rien à la débilité et la tristesse de la situation

Excellent dvd. Concert très bien filmé

un excellent dvd qui donne vraiment envie d aller les voir

super et pas cher 18€ pour deux dvd et un cd de 79 minutes

Ca a l'air somptueux! Le packaging du DVD édition deluxe .. rhaaaa, je le veux!!!

Par contre, quoi qu'est-ce? Ils ne jouent pas "find yourself, discover God"??
