Joe Hasselvander nous prépare un nouvel album pour l'automne !
Voici ce qu'on peut lire sur le site d'Iron Pegasus Records :
THE HOUNDS OF HASSELVANDER
The new album (to be released on BLOOD ROCK RECORDS/ Italy) is recorded. The album will be called "The Nineth Hour" and features Joe Hasselvander (drums, all guitars, vocals) and Marty Swaney (bass guitar). This line up is actually is 50% of the 80s DEATH ROW/ PENTAGRAM line up, so insiders know what they should expect here.
Joe Hasselvander delivers traditional Doom Metal that is heavy and still has the true "sinister" atmosphere that his old band has been known for in the past. Already had the chance to pre-listen to it and all I can say is that especially the monumental song "Restless Soul" will be one of the finest Doom moments in 2011!!!
To be released in Autumn.

Fichtre, je savais que c'est un ancien membre de longue date de Pentagram, mais je n'avais pas cliqué que c'était aussi le batteur de Raven depuis longtemps.

Depuis l'album "Nothing Exceeds Like Excess". Les morceaux qu'il a créé dans Pentagram, était souvent les plus lourds du groupe. On le ressent bien dans son groupe "the hounds of hasselvander" mais pas vraiment dans "hasselvander".
il est bien terrible ce morceau mais écoutes plutôt ça :

The new Hounds Of Hasselvander album, The Ninth Hour, will be in stores very soon!
A second “new” album will be coming out in October, called Ancient Rocks, consisting of everybody’s favorite obscure songs from the obscure bands that made them in the late 1960′s and early 1970′s! “This album also features my touring band of T.C. Tolliver (Plasmatics) on drums, Martin Swaney (Death Row / Pentagram) on bass guitar and Paolo “Apollo” Negri (Wicked Minds) on Keyboards and 2 other very special guests!”, says Joe Hasselvander. “I will be finishing up all tracking of these rare morsels tomorrow, and in 2 weeks I start mixing and mastering! The ol’ “one – two punch”, to double your fun! What leaning!!!”
