Pour les doomers du forum, les suédois de Sorcerer se sont reformés et rééditent au passage au format digital leurs enregistrements, notamment la démo de 1989.
The self-titled debut album from Swedish epic doom metallers SORCERER is being released digitally for the first time. The digital album will be released in two parts. The first includes the recording from 1989 and was released digitally August 12th.

En fait, la demo de 1989 n'est pas un bonus : ce "1er album" est la réédition des 2 demos de groupe sorties en 1989 et 1992, augmenté d'inédits des sessions de ces demos. Un des meilleurs groupes de Doom, un album indispensable pour les fans de doom lyrique (à la CANDLEMASS, SOLITUDE AETURNUS).
A quand la réédition de MILLARCA, groupe japonais du même style ?

bonne nouvelle la reformation....mais pourquoi ne sortir cette réédition qu'au format digital? perso, je n'achète pas MP3
l'un des meilleurs groupe de suede (et d'ailleurs)

J'écoute la première démo, sortie en 1994. Très intéressant, mais forcément, ce n'était vraiment pas la meilleure époque pour sortir du matériel du genre.

Un single avant le prochain album prévu pour cette année :
Swedish epic/doom metal warlords Sorcerer will release a 7" with two brand new songs on September 8th via Metal Blade Records. The 7" features the title track, "Sirens", as well as the exclusive B-side "Disciples Of The Dark". It will be available in three colours, black vinyl (300 copies), turquoise blue (200 copies) and clear (100 copies). It is strictly limited, with all versions hand-numbered. You can pre-order your copies here and check out the cover art below.
The band comments: "With this new single Sirens we really want to show everyone that Sorcerer is a force to count on!"
According to the label, Sorcerer have just finished recording their brand new studio album for a release later in 2017. More info on the successor of In The Shadow Of The Inverted Cross will follow shortly.

Ils ont fait une vidéo pour chaque titre ou presque je crois, certains sont vraiment superbes En particulier ceux ci-dessous.
Par contre l'album a l'air terriblement long, plus de 70 minutes...
