Ce vieux groupe de metal mélodique suédois va sortir un album en 2012 pour ses 30 ans d'existence. D'ici là faudra qu'ils retrouvent un chanteur...
Long-running Swedish metallers DESTINY will enter DRS studio this week to begin recording their 30th-anniversary album, "The Incompatibility Of Philosophical Terminology", for a 2012 release. The group's previously announced new CD, "Global Warming", is still under production but is temporarily put on hold and will be made available at a later date.
A teaser trailer for "The Incompatibility Of Philosophical Terminology" can be seen below. Also available is the album's projected cover artwork.
DESTINY's most recent release was the "Beyond All Sense 2005" CD, a re-recorded version of DESTINY's debut album (originally issued in 1985).
DESTINY has not yet announced a new singer following the departure of Kristoffer Göbel at the end of 2006.
Gothenburg's Destiny just released a music video for the "Living Dead" single, which is the band's first new release in 10 years.
"Living Dead" will appear on an upcoming 33rd anniversary album due out later this year. The lineup for the track consists of:
Jonas Heidgert - vocals
Michael Åberg - guitar
Stefan Björnshög - bass
Kane Svantesson - drums (video)
Roger Christiansson - drums (audio)
"Living Dead" was produced by Destiny and Henrik Pettersson and recorded and mixed at Destiny Recording Studio. The video was produced by René U Valdes / Greenworks Television and can be seen below.

C'est fou le nombre de groupes suédois qui se mettent à chanter dans leur langue ces derniers temps.
Swedish metal act Destiny - now featuring Dragonland frontman Jonas Heidgert - released a music video for the track "Förväntan Stiger," a track written for an album for football (soccer) team IFK Gothenburg.
Bassist Stefan Björnshög explains: "It was a quick process. Between last Christmas and New Year's Eve I began to write the music. I wanted it to be a song that would work well for the Destiny fans even if they were completely uninterested in football, but also easy enough to sing along with this the first time you hear it as supporter of the team. That is why Destiny for the first time released a song with Swedish lyrics.
"When the music felt ready the whole band met in the studio and within hours we both learned and recorded the song. Next Jonas Heidgert and our sound engineer and producer Henrik Pettersson wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocals. Some additional vocals and guitars were recorded the following day, but basically everything was completed in one day. We have never worked this fast before. I am very satisfied and think we have succeeded with both goals.
"The video that was filmed on top of Ramberget with Gothenburg as background is the icing on the cake, and provides the perfect setting for the song, "Förväntan Stiger (Anticipation Rises)."
As for the long awaited anniversary release, the new Destiny album will be entitled "Climate Change," which will be released in the first half of 2016 and will feature five newly recorded older, but unreleased, Destiny tracks, as well as nine newly re-recorded old album songs.
The album will also feature a special guest appearance by drummer Adde Larsson, as well as guest performances from former Destiny members.
"Climate Change" was recorded at Destiny Recording Studio (DRS) by Henrik Pettersson of Tarmpolin Recordings.
More information on the new release is expected soon.
