Album prévu pour le 30 mars. Il s'intitulera "Incinerate"

German high-energy thrashers DEW-SCENTED have issued the following update:

"It's done! [New album] 'Incinerate' is finally mixed and mastered. [Mixer] Andy Sneap [MEGADETH, NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY] has exceeded all our expectations and this new album came out being the best-sounding DEW-SCENTED release so far. We can't wait for you to hear it! It will be released on March 30th in Europe via Nuclear Blast Records and we should have some advance sound samples available for you here on the site in the coming weeks. In the meantime, here is the album's final tracklist:

01. Exordium (intro)
02. Vanish Away
03. Final Warning
04. That's Why I Despise You
05. The Fraud
06. Into the Arms of Misery
07. Perdition for All
08. Now or Never
09. Aftermath
10. Everything Undone
11. Contraddictions
12. Retain the Scars
13. Exitus (outro)

"We have additionally recorded some cool bonus tracks and are playing around with several sweet ideas for a limited edition release with a special packaging and plenty of extra material. More details on this soon!

"Once again our friend Björn from Killustrations did an amazing job with the artwork of the new album. After having provided great visuals for 'Impact' and 'Issue VI', Björn came up with a very suitable and elegantly dark artwork for 'Incinerate' as well.

"After six albums and so many good years and experiences together, our drummer Uwe is no longer with DEW-SCENTED. We thank him for the great time and wish him all the best for the future! This leaves DEW-SCENTED looking for a new steady drummer. We are searching for someone to take over the drum spot in a solid way and as his main priority. Please note that you must be a) a skilled player, b) available for rehearsals / recording / touring, c) located in a logistically suitable area of the world and d) devoted to the cause of thrash metal.

"We are still working on more summer festival dates as well as hopefully some overseas touring upon release of the new album. And just to put the record straight: Yes, the two previously announced DEW-SCENTED shows in Greece for February were cancelled by the local promoter. We also just confirmed a special CD presentation show in Bremen at the club Tower on March 30th, right before our European tour. Hope to see many old and new friends there!"

Quelques invités de marque sur cet album :
German high-energy thrashers DEW-SCENTED have set an April 3 North American release date (March 30 in Germany, April 2 in the rest of Europe) via Nuclear Blast Records for their new album, "Incinerate". The CD was mixed by Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY) and features guest appearances by Jeff Waters (ANNIHILATOR), Gus G. (FIREWIND) and Mille Petrozza (KREATOR). "On the song 'Perdition for All' we have Jeff and Gus shredding awesome lead guitar pieces," the band writes on its web site. "It was great to hook up with Jeff again, since we still have loads of good memories of that tour where DEW-SCENTED supported ANNIHILATOR and OVERKILL some years back. Also Gus is one the most talented current players out there, so we are happy to have him on the record too! Both are outstanding players with a very unique style, so look out for their awesome performances! And then we are super pleased to announce that Mille is doing some guest vocals on the song 'Retain the Scars'. We have gigged around a bit with KREATOR in the past and since they have always been one of our thrash metal faves and early inspirations, it's extremely cool to have Mille featured on our album!"

German brutal thrashers DEW-SCENTED have parted ways with guitar players Florian Müller and Hendrik Bache and have replaced them with Michael Borchers and Martin Walczak. The band has also added a new drummer in the shape of Marc-Andrée Dieken who previously worked with the group as a touring/session drummer back in 2004.

Commented the band: "After long years of co-operating fruitfully, it was time for a change and consequently we parted ways with guitar players Florian Müller and Hendrik Bache. It just happened to become the best of choices for the band's future. We did immediately enter an intense rehearsal period to get the band regrouped smoothly and were lucky to quickly find a highly motivated and extremely talented new guitar duo with Michael Borchers and Martin Walczak. Adding up to the work behind closed doors, we also tracked down a new steady drummer in Marc-Andrée Dieken, finally ending a lengthy time of uncertainty and session drummers. Marc is surely a 'familiar' face to some of you as he already helped us out as live drummer for a while back in 2004 and also he played together with bass player Alex for death metallers OBSCENITY.

"We already debuted live in this line-up after some first few weeks of rehearsing at Kaltenbach festival in July and have ever since played some really cool shows throughout Germany, Austria, Turkey, Hungary and last but not least Spain. The Milwookis festival in Spain also marked our last show for this year 2008, as we will take some weeks off to work on ideas for new material and also to be ready for the challenges that await us in 2009. It has been a great ride so far in this new shape / line-up and we are sure it will lead to some really killer new compositions too, so we can't wait to share more METAL with all of you soon…

"We have quite some nice festival shows in the works for 2009, a return to play in Portugal in January and have also been confirmed to finally debut on Greek stages. We will play on Thursday, February 26 in Thessaloniki at Eightball Club and then at Friday, February 27 in Athens at Texas-Necropolis Club. Hope to see you there, fellow thrashers of Greece!"

German thrashers DEW-SCENTED have unveiled the cover artwork for their new album, "Invocation", due on May 24 in Europe via Metal Blade Records and May 25 2010 in North America through Prosthetic Records. The artwork was created by Björn Goosses of Killustrations and can be viewed below.

Commented vocalist Leif Jensen: "We were lucky to work with Björn again and he did an amazing job on this one, nailing down an apocalyptic artwork that fits perfectly to our style as well as the concept/vibe of 'Invocation'. Total thrash!

"We have been working with Killustrations non-stop for all our albums and merchandising matters since 2003's release, 'Impact', and are once more very proud of the final results!"

"Invocation" was recorded and mixed at Soundlodge Studio in Northern Germany with producer Jörg Uken (GOD DETHRONED, SINISTER).
