New Tourniquet DVD to be released - Live from Linkoping, Sweden - Bobfest 2005. This is by far the best quality live Tourniquet footage we have ever had - both in terms of the video (4 cameras) and audio. The crowd was awesome too! There will be songs included that have never been on any live Tourniquet video or DVD before -The Tomb of Gilgamesh and Skeezix Part II to name a couple. Also included will be songs from Where Moth and Rust Destroy, and of course, some old favorites. Look for an early 2006 release.

Leur premier DVD filmé en Suède est sur le point de sortir :
Christian thrash metallers TOURNIQUET will release their long-awaited live DVD, "Till Sverige Med Kärlek" (To Sweden With Love), on August 15. The disc, which has a running time of over 100 minutes, was recorded on March 12, 2005 at the Bobfest 2005 in Linköping, Sweden, and "is by far the best-quality live TOURNIQUET footage we have ever had — both in terms of the video (four cameras) and audio," the band previously stated. "The crowd was awesome too! There will be songs included that have never been on any live TOURNIQUET video or DVD before — 'The Tomb of Gilgamesh' and 'Skeezix Part II', to name a couple. Also included will be songs from 'Where Moth and Rust Destroy', and of course, some old favorites."

'tain ce qu'il est bon ce Stop The Bleeding m'en lasserais jamais de ce disque, faudra quand même ce que j'écoute un jour ce qu'ils ont fait depuis 15 ans

Ca y est, le DVD est dispo
Christian technical-thrashers TOURNIQUET have released their new live DVD, Till Sverige Med Kärlek (To Sweden With Love). The DVD was recorded live from Bobfest at Linkoping, Sweden on March 12, 2005 and contains over 100 minutes of running time in "region free" NTSC format.
Drummer Ted Kirkpatrick posted the following statement on the Tourniquet fan forum board:
"This long awaited DVD is now in stock. All preorders – domestic and international - have been sent out. You can order the DVD here. As previously reported, Tourniquet are working on a new album, the follow-up to 2003's Where Moth And Rust Destroy, due out next year.

oh ben tu peux te ruer dessus, une bombe, des titres de folies, des bons musicos, un chanteur complètement jeté (sur "Ark of Suffering" il est très sobre
rien à jeter, pfffh "Test For Leprosy", "Ready Or Not", "Tears of Korah" pfffh y a que des classiques sur cet album. Un des albums les plus yeah de tous les temps
m'en vais me le remettre pour la 4564 ème fois tient

Trop sobre même, le Tourniquet que je préfère c'est quand ça part vraiment en vrille totale
Sinon j'ai vu récemment que les anciens membres ont formé un groupe, ça se trouve il doit y avoir une news qui traine sur le forum, je ne me rappelle plus...

Le clip est bien aussi, avec un sujet très important et trop peu mis en avant

l'album stop the bleeding est vraiment énorme, mais Pathogénic ocular dissonnance est vraiment très bon aussi de même que les plus récents Microscopic view of a telescopic realm ou where moth and rust destroy(avec des solos de M.Friedman)
sinon c'est rigolo, ils cherchent à concourir pour le record du titre le plus long :
ex : Gelatinous Tubercles of Purulent Ossification

Marrants les titres, ça oscille entre prog tordu et "brutal death médical"
Sinon je n'ai que Where Moth And Rust Destroy, que je trouve sympa (merci Friedman) mais un peu trop conventionnel par rapport à la réputation du groupe
et avec quelques longueurs aussi...
C'est lesquels les albums qui partent en vrille ?

faut absolument entendre une fois "Stop The Bleeding", il n'est malheureusement pas distribué en Europe, on le trouve que via le site du groupe où alors en occaz' pour la première édition....du pure Speed/Thrash. pas facile à dégoter ce disque mais c'est de la pure bombe! moi ce que j'ai entendu des derniers albums ne m'a jamais trop convaincu, même si y a pire...

J'ai écouté les extraits de 30 secondes sur leur site, j'accroche pas trop à certains passages à la voix suraigue (il chante super bien, mais ça colle pas super bien au style je trouve) mais à part ça ils ont l'air terribles !
A voir, peut-être dans un Metal Market l'été prochain...

Ce chant complètement barje et décalé c'est justement un des attraits des 2 premiers albums pour moi, rien que ça les différenciait de beaucoup de groupes de speed/thrash. 'fin ça tue quoi

C'est dommage que "Stop the bleeding" soit quasiment impossible à trouver, car d'après ce que vous en dites tous, c'est du top de chez top
En tout cas, si je le vois un jour quelque part (dans une brocante
), je le prends illico!

en ce moment je vois régulièrement une version de Stop the bleeding avec 6 titres bonus, apparemment il y aurait un pressage fait par le groupe et un boot brésilien... qui en sais plus? le son as t'il était retouché sur la version oficielle?
