Nouvel album du trio canadien de heavy metal chaudronesque :

Canadian heavy metal trio CAULDRON will release its third full-length album, "Tomorrow's Lost", in October via Earache Records. The CD was recorded in Parkdale, Toronto with producer Jameson Elliott, who also recorded the band's 2010 album, "Burning Fortune". The artwork for the effort was created by Todd Kowalski (SACRIFICE, PROPAGANDHI).

Commented CAULDRON vocalist/bassist Jason Decay: "The artwork was done by Todd Kowalski based on an idea we gave him surrounding the title, 'Tomorrow's Lost'.

"The title is open to interpretation, really, but I suppose it's about how the future could be written off, either for us, the world, or for someone else, depending on how they interpret it. Like how, more than likely, tomorrow has already been spoken for and is a lost cause, no matter what."

Added CAULDRON guitarist Ian Chains: "It's not a concept album or anything and doesn't mean any one specific thing. As an album title, it refers to varying degrees of hopelessness that we can somehow relate to. It means striving hard to achieve something that may never see the light of day, or making poor decisions that come back to ruin everything for you."

(il était plutôt comment le précédent au fait? a vrai dire je ne connais vraiment que des chansons plic ploc sans savoir de quel album elles viennent^^)

Bah, le dernier album était plutôt tataisé.

Je l'ai quand même aimé, je le suis donc un peu moi aussi.

En même temps, pas mal de groupes de la NWOBHM ont fait le coup, donc c'est logique.

A montréal quand je dis que j'aime ce band,on me regarde bizarrement...CAULDRON n'a plus la cote aupres des metalleux intégristes qui lui reproche d'être trop mélodique et trop tata par rapport a GOAT HORN(le band précédent du leader)...

Nouveau batteur :

Canadian heavy metallers CAULDRON have announced the addition of drummer Myles Deck to the group's ranks.

Myles spent much of his life living and playing in bands in Halifax, Nova Scotia, including blackened thrashers HELLACAUST, as well as fronting a Detroit-style punk rock outfit called MYLES DECK AND THE FUZZ. He replaces CAULDRON's former drummer, Chris Steve.

The drums for the band's new album, "Tomorrow's Lost", were recorded by Chris Rites (CRYSTAL CASTLES).

Comme toi pour ma part...Ce premier extrait ce veut plutôt rassurant sur ce point et semble plus se rapprocher du EP.

J'en suis à ma première écoute et pour l'instant, je suis bien content. C'est plus Heavy que le dernier, que j'ai quand même aimé malgré son côté tata, et plus dynamique que le premier.
