Original Band Members Reunite for First Aussie Shows in nearly 40 Years
THURSDAY NOVEMBER 1, 2012 – BLACK SABBATH – the band credited with creating heavy metal and one of the most influential bands of all time - today announced their widely rumored and highly anticipated reunion for their first Australian shows in nearly 40 years.
Original band members – the Prince of Darkness himself: Ozzy Osbourne, bassist Geezer Butler and guitarist Tony Iommi will make a thunderous return to Australia in April 2013 for arena shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, in their first Aussie shows since 1974.
Tickets for these once-in-a-lifetime shows will go on sale at midday, Thursday November 8.

Hailing from Birmingham, England, Black Sabbath released their self-titled debut album on February 13, 1970. Their follow up album, the seminal masterpiece, UK #1 album Paranoid, - featured the all-time rock anthems War Pigs and Iron Man as well as the title track, Paranoid.
Black Sabbath has sold in excess of 70 million records worldwide. More than 40 years on, this Iconic band continues to be held in the highest regard:

In June 2012 Black Sabbath memorably headlined the 10th Download Festival at Donington before a crowd of 100,000. They followed that show in August with a much talked about headlining set at 2012’s sold-out Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago.
Black Sabbath is currently recording their first new studio album in more than 33 years, helmed by seven-time Grammy winning producer, Rick Rubin. The album is due for release in April 2013.

Comme ça m'étonnerait qu'ils fassent une tournée en club, je souhaite effectivement qu'ils passent dans les 1 ou 2 festivals où je suis susceptible de me rendre. (Azkena ? )

Zégut vient d'annoncer un Bercy début décembre !!!!!!!!!!! Le 2, pour être précis.
Bon voilà ça reste Zegut, mais bon il y a pas de fumée sans feu, donc on devrait bientôt les voir en Europe!
Et pour faire plaisir à Gandalf, certainement un Hellfest en 2014...

L’année dernière, après plus de 35 ans d’absence, le groupe mythique créait la sensation en annonçant leur retour. BLACK SABBATH, avec ses plus de 70 millions d'albums vendus, ses Grammy Awards et son intronisation au Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, sera en concert évènement le 2 décembre prochain à Bercy !

Selon le Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Black Sabbath est considéré comme le groupe qui a inventé le Heavy Metal. Le succès de leurs deux premiers albums, Black Sabbath et Paranoid, a marqué un tournant dans l'histoire de la musique. Ces albums sont considérés, encore aujourd'hui, comme des classiques du genre.
Le line-up original composé de Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi et Geezer Butler sortira un nouvel album intitulé 13. A la batterie, Brad Wilk de Rage Against The Machine a rejoint le groupe pour enregistrer les titres en studio. Cet opus est produit par un des producteurs les plus récompensés des Grammy Awards : Rick Rubin. Rendez-vous le 10 juin prochain pour écouter le premier album studio depuis Never Say Die en 1978.
