3 albums sont réédités ensemble dans un coffret suite à leur signature chez Metal Blade :
Metal Blade Records has announced the signing of San Francisco, California's SLOUGH FEG. Three of the band's early releases that, until now, were only available as imports — "Twilight Of The Idols" (1999), "Down Among The Deadmen" (2000) and "Traveller" (2003) — will be packaged as a 3CD box set and will be released on february 5. Each CD will also be made available on its own digitally.
One of the most unique and underrated metal acts today, SLOUGH FEG has amassed quite the dedicated following over the 20 or so years that it has been active and has churned out such classic American metal albums as "Dawn Amongst The Deadmen", "Twilight Of The Idols" and "Traveler" (the latter being the album many claim as the SLOUGH FEG classic).
Led by the charismatic vocalist/guitarist/lyricist Mike Scalzi, who has easily established himself as one of the best and most distinct vocalists and lyricists in all of metal, SLOUGH FEG's latest album, 2010's "The Animal Spirits" (Profound Lore Records), was another gem in the illustrious SLOUGH FEG repertoire and is considered to be one of the band's strongest offerings.
SLOUGH FEG is:
Michael Scalzi - Vocals/Guitar
Angelo Tringali - Guitar
Adrian Maestas - Bass
Harry Cantwell - Drums

US heavy metallers Slough Feg have some unpleasent news to share. The band has confirmed that their drummer Harry Cantwell will be leaving the band after July 28th show at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, CA. Harry has been part of Slough Feg for the last seven years and has contributed his share to the band's last four full length releases.
Commented by the band: "After almost seven years as drummer of Slough Feg, Harry Cantwell will be leaving the band after our July 28th show at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, CA. We're sad to see him go, for he's been a great drummer and also truly great person, and of course we wish him luck in all of his future pursuits. Luckily Harry gave us plenty of notice, and also played fantastically at the last two shows in Minneapolis and Chicago, so not a drop of bad blood here. I'm sure we'll all remain friends, and of course we'll continue to use Harry's talents as fashion consultant to the band after his departure.
So come celebrate Harry's last show on July 28th at Bottom of the Hill! Obviously this news brings up the question: what are we gonna do about a drummer? Well, we do have some stuff scheduled for a few months down the road, so we'll be auditioning drummers ASAP. If you think you're up to the task, then let us know."

Son remplaçant a été trouvé :
Slough Feg is proud to announce the arrival of new drummer, Addison Filipczyk, who fills in following Harry Cantwell's departure.
Bassist Adrian Maestas comments, "After trying out drummers for a few months we think we've found the right guy. Welcome aboard, Addison!"
Singer / guitarist Mike Scalzi gave only a short list of the new drummer's vital statistics:
- Loyal Slough Feg fan since 2007
- Sharp wit / keen philosophical / linguistic intellect
- Corrective lenses necessary when drumming / viewing oversized metal chicks' asses
- Huge heavy metal fan, with tastes ranging from early Maiden and Priest to Budgie and Beethoven
- Corporate spirit with liberal incentives towards Slough Feg's prime directive
Guitarist Angelo Tringali couldn't be reached for comment, but his answering machine informed us that he was out in search of "a different lime and whiskey cola."
Addison will make his debut with Slough Feg on April 16th, 2015, at the Eagle S.F. in San Francisco.
