IN~GRAVED, the new band led by former PENTAGRAM and PLACE OF SKULLS guitarist Victor Griffin, will release their self-titled debut album in Europe and the UK on Friday, March 22 via Finnish label Svart Records and in the US on Tuesday, March 26 via Veritas Records (see album cover below).

The debut self-tilted album was produced by Travis Wyrick (PLACE OF SKULLS) and founding guitarist/vocalist Victor Griffin (DEATH ROW, PENTAGRAM, PLACE OF SKULLS). The album was recorded at Lakeside Studios in Knoxville, Tennessee and engineered by Travis Wyrick and Mike Dearing (PLACE OF SKULLS) with cover art by Richard Schouten (PLACE OF SKULLS).

As previously reported, original drummer of Doom Metal legends TROUBLE, Jeff "Oly" Olson, will play the Hammond organ on the forthcoming debut album and will also feature drummer Pete Campbell (60 WATT SHAMAN, PLACE OF SKULLS), bassists Guy Pinhas (THE OBSESSED, ACID KING, GOATSNAKE), Ron Holzner (TROUBLE, EARTHEN GRAVE, DEBRIS INC), Greg Turley (PENTAGRAM), Marty Swaney (DEATH ROW, PENTAGRAM), and Dan Lively (SWEET CICADA), as well as keyboardist Mike Puleo (ORODRUIN).

IN~GRAVED will perform at the 'Roadburn' festival on Saturday, April 20 in Tilburg, Holland. More tour dates will be announced soon.

J'avais entendu parler de ce projet, sur un autre forum, quelqu'un était en contact avec le Pete Campbell, le batteur qui lui avait dit « well its got that "victor" vibe for sure. its more heavy 70's kinda rock. we wanted to go back to the roots with a blusey strait rock sound, with organ and all..». C'est aussi sensé ne pas toucher au côté Born again de Griffin.

J'aurais une préférence pour un nouvel album de "Place Of Skulls", mais je suis très curieux de ce nouveau projet.

Je connais, c'est le morceau éponyme de son album solo, qui était davantage une compilation de ses enregistrements. C'est quand même cool à entendre avec une bonne production et une voix mieux mise en valeur. Faut dire que beaucoup de ces morceaux se sont par la suite retrouvés dans Pentagram et Place of Skulls, ce qui n'est pas une mauvaise chose en soit. Si l'ensemble de l'album est de ce tonneau, c'est quand même une bonne nouvelle.

oui, la nouvelle version est meilleur, et je vois sur le set list, qu'il y en a une autre "never surrender". Mais franchement, j'adore "Victor Griffin" dans "Pentagram" et "place of skulls", mais son album solo, j'ai beaucoup de mal. j'espére que le reste sera meilleur pour ce projet "In Graved".

il y aura trois éditions, white, green and black vinyl.

Je viens d'écouter un peu, c'est quand même très rock, j'aime bien mais je le préfère quand même dans un registre plus lourd.
