ICED EARTH are excited to announce the first EUROPEAN LEG of their 2014/2015 World Tour, with the tour kicking off on January 9, 2014 in Saarbrücken, Germany.

Tickets and VIP packages for these shows will be on sale by the end of April 2013.

The band has been hitting it relentlessly, with the recent studio album “DYSTOPIA” being the most toured album in the band’s illustrious history.

One of the many highlights of the “WORLD DYSTOPIA TOUR”, a headline show at the historic Kourion Amphitheatre in Cyprus was recently released as BluRay, DVD and in many other formats, entitled “LIVE IN ANCIENT KOURION”.

The band is currently writing a new studio album with a slated release date for late 2013.

They will be recording and mixing in between a string of European festivals this summer.

“We are ready!”, says JON SCHAFFER. “We are ready to enter the steel pirate ship that is our tour bus and spend another 18 months traveling the world. We look forward to reaching even more people and bringing ICED EARTH to many new territories on this next massive world tour. Iced Earth are about to embark on the second leg of the Volbeat tour, which kicks off in Berlin, Germany, today and wraps up in Copenhagen, Denmark on December 1st. For the remainder of the Volbeat tour, Jon Dette (Testament, Slayer), the go-to guy for tours, will be behind the drums taking over for Raphael Saini who filled in during the summer festivals, the recording of the new album, and the club leg of the Volbeat tour.

Iced Earth commented: "Raphael came in and helped us out of a tight spot this summer with a full schedule of festivals, a new album to finish, and no room for diversion on the schedule. He came in and delivered and we are very grateful for that. We wish him all the best for his future endeavours."

Raphael Saini says: "When I had the chance to join Iced Earth for their summer festivals and the new album, I couldn't say no: I was really excited even though I knew that it was going to be something temporary. I am honoured to be part of the band's history, an amazing album, and to have worked with some supremely talented musicians. My journey will continue, there's more to come."

As for the band's new album Plagues Of Babylon, it is being released next January and the first song previously released is still available here.

J'en peux plus de cette salle à la con.
Plus ça va, et plus tout se joue là-bas maintenant à Paris. Et comme c'est pas grand, c'est souvent complet, ou pas loin.
Et comme c'est rempli, c'est pénible, tu peux pas te déplacer tranquillement sans emmerder tout le monde.
Si t' arrives à la moitié de la première partie t'es déjà assuré de voir queue dalle.
