MASTERS OF METAL is the new band formed by current members of AGENT STEEL: Juan Garcia (guitars), Bernie Versailles (guitars and lead vocals), Robert Cardenas (bass and backing vocals), Rigo Amezcua (drums). The Los Angeles-based group had been working on new the material for sometime and recently decided to move forward and complete the recordings with Bernie Versailles taking over the vocal duties. This has been a blessing in disguise as MASTERS OF METAL not only have maintained their dedicated fan base playing successful live shows in recent months to great overwhelming receptions, but the legendary members have gained even more followers in support of their new path.
MASTERS OF METAL has just released its debut EP in North America via iTunes. Physical copies can be obtained through The Omega Order online store. Recorded by Bill Metoyer (FATES WARNING, TROUBLE, GWAR) and mixed by Versailles, the EP contains four blistering songs with everything that you can expect from the members of AGENT STEEL: top-notch overtones, timeless songwriting, and lots of scorching guitars, bottom end, and precision drumming. The track "Lunacy" features guest lead vocals by James Rivera (HELSTAR), and Sean Peck (CAGE, DEATH DEALER).

quelle misere d'avoir retrouvé John Cyriis et de se faire piqué le nom par lui.

J'suis pas convaincu par le morceau non plus, ça fait Agent Steel au rabais...
Comme quoi c'était vraiment pas une bonne idée de reprendre Cyriis.

Pareil : je trouve ça super moyen. Après j'm'en fous qu'ils s'appellent Agent steel ou Masters of metal, le fait est que quelque soit le nom, ça ne vaut pas les débuts d'AS.

Une interview du groupe où ils abordent un peu le conflit avec Cyriis sur le nom Agent Steel :
Ce n'est pas les premiers à adopter un nom de groupe un peu mégalo ou décalé. Mais ça jure avec la qualité du morceau, qui n'est vraiment pas bon du tout.
