On Sunday, November 9, Dutch/Norwegian rockers THE GATHERING will celebrate their 25th anniversary with a one-time special show at the beautiful new Doornroosje venue in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

All past and present members of THE GATHERING — from 1989 until 2014 — will appear on stage and perform in this unique show together.

Hans Rutten, one of the original THE GATHERING members who is still in the band, says: "After 25 years of diving into the unknown, making music from the heart and trying to renew ourselves, we are very happy to be able to celebrate this with all past and present bandmembers. It is a unique gathering and we feel blessed and privileged. We have made a lot of friends all over the world throughout the years and we hope to share this evening together."

Ticket sales start this Friday, June 20 at 10:00 CET at the Doornroosje ticket site.
To coincide with this unique gig, THE GATHERING will release a "best of" album which will be available at Doornroosje on November 9. More details will be made available soon.

The Gathering out of The Netherlands have issued the following announcement:

"Hi all!

We will do show with The Gathering on October 4th, 2014 in Dortmund, Germany at a nice little venue called Musiktheater Piano. Please note this will be a 'normal' The Gathering show, with Silje, Frank, René, Hans, and on bass, Hugo!

It's quite an exclusive show, as we don't have other gigs planned this year besides our 25th celebration on November 9th (Nijmegen). Hope to see you there!"
