PRETTY MAIDS NEW ALBUM LOUDER THAN EVER. Release date spring 2014. The album will consist of re-recorded songs from the era between 1995 & 2006. The reason for doing this project is to give those songs a different spin with the band and producer we have now. It is an in-between album until the band completes the next studio album with new tunes. This Album will ALSO consist of brand new songs and a bonus DVD.

Enfin pas tout à fait un 'vrai' nouvel album mais je suis assez impatient, ayant trouvé 'Motherland' très bon !

"Red hot and heavy" est un classique aussi... Et jette une oreille sur les deux derniers, ils sont bien terribles

Le groupe explique pourquoi il n'a pas voulu réenregistrer ses classiques de la fin 80's / début 90's :
Ronnie Atkins (chant) : "There were two main reasons for us to do this album. First of all, we wanted [/u]to keep the ball in spin and release some kind of an 'in between' album before the next 'real' studio album. Then we were curious to hear how some of the older songs would sound like with the band lineup we have today and in the hands of our current producer, Jacob Hansen. The original idea was actually to do a mix of both re-recorded, re-mixed, covers and new songs, but in the end decided to cut it down to what it is. We deliberately chose not to re-record some of the Eighties and early Nineties material, since it's some kind of 'sacred,' both to ourselves as well as the fans."

Je trouve qu'il y a dans la discographie de Pretty Maids pas mal d'albums meilleurs que les 2 derniers, à mon sens.

Morten Sandager (claviers) a quitté le groupe, dommage car il est très bon et le groupe avait un certain regain de forme depuis son arrivée même si ce n'est pas forcément (que) de son fait.
