"2013 has been a hell of a year for the band, with the loss of our Trevor (Bolder; bass).
It was so unexpected, and so sudden, it shocked us right to the bone. What with Bernie's illness, thankfully behind him, it has been a rollercoaster of nightmares, and we never really had time to draw breath. However in true Heep, style we have pulled through, and the spirit of Trevor will always be with us, and his music lives on forever. That is just how he would have wished it. Those cherished memories will always be there in our hearts.
We were so hoping that he would be on stage with us at the Download Festival, but it was not to be. The 90,000 people that were there though, could definitely feel his presence, and the sight of Trevor projected on to the Download screens drew one of the biggest cheers of the weekend. It was particularly emotional for the band, as his family were on the side of the stage. How wonderful it is to know, that so many people have been enriched by Trevor's talents and values.
We cannot thank you all enough for your support, especially over this troublesome time, and it just goes to show what fantastic fans & friends we have.
However at this festive time, I would like us all to think of those less fortunate, like the homeless, and this year has just added even more relevance to my Shirt Off My Back, auctions for Cancer. I would like to, with The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre, thank everyone for your donations and support. http://www.mick-box.net
Saying all the above, we will be recording a new CD and video in the first part of 2014, then we will start an extensive touring campaign to promote both of them all over the world. There is much to look forward to, but we will never forget Trevor, David and Gary, who gave so much to the band, and
this is etched in our heart and soul.

S'il est aussi bon que le dernier en date, ça va être fantastique ! Arriver a sortir un album d'une telle qualite 40 ans apres leur formation, c'est sans compter que sur scene ils ont toujours le plaisir et l'envie.

Excellent ce nouveau morceau Le Heep fait vraiment plaisir avec ses derniers albums, ça force le respect de sortir des skeuds aussi efficacent après une telle carrière

Après une écoute seulement, je dirais que malheureusement tout l'album est comme cela. Bref, ça laisse écouter agréablement mais c'est assez plat quand même...très lisse. Un album bien en dessous des deux précédents, très classic-rock/easy listening, dont je ne retiens que "Kiss the rainbow", titre un peu plus ambitieux.
Et puis c'est quoi cette pochette?? Oui elle est plutôt bien faite mais je la trouve prétentieuse (Prog ?), incongrue, sans rapport avec le contenu..

On ne se rend pas compte, depuis la France, de l'impact qu'a eu Uriah Heep. Les inclure dans un "Big 4" des 70s est peut-être un tout petit peu tiré par les cheveux, mais en tout cas ils sont en tête du 2ème wagon de la décennie. Ils ont eu un succès énorme aux USA et Angleterre dans les années 70. Ce succès est retombé après, mais ils ont continué à être énorme en Allemagne (genre vraiment énorme, avec des albums multi-platines) pendant longtemps. Wikipédia dit qu'ils ont vendu 40 millions, le chiffre est peut-être un peu exagéré, mais sans doute pas tant que ça. Quant à leur impact, il suffit de demander aux groupes allemands passés et actuels ce qu'ils en pensent. Pense aux groupes genre Gamma Ray ou Blind Guardian qui ont déjà repris leur morceau (sans parler de Demons & Wizards bien sûr).
sans compter que sur scene ils ont toujours le plaisir et l'envie.
