Mekong Delta - In A Mirror Darkly

Now the German quartet is set to unleash its latest recording: In A Mirror Darkly will be out on April 28th (Germany - April 25th, North America - April 29th).
Martin LeMar (vocals), Ralf Hubert (bass), Erik Adam H. Grösch (guitar) and Alex Landenburg (drums) have recorded a total of eight songs for In A Mirror Darkly, among them three instrumental numbers like the ingenious ‘Inside The Outside Of The Inside’ with its diverse arrangements.
“Typically Mekong Delta, the new numbers all have a playing time of between five and seven minutes. As far as I am concerned, that’s just the right time frame to gain sufficient stylistic depth without pushing the envelope or creating artistic ambiguities,” band founder Ralf Hubert explains the initial parameters of the new album. “I feel that we’ve once again found the right mix of complexity and uninterrupted leitmotiv.”
Mekong Delta recorded their latest oeuvre at the band members’ respective studios. In A Mirror Darkly was produced by Ralf Hubert, the spectacular cover artwork is expected to be borrowed from an animation created for the album.
Hubert: “Thematically, the new recording will pick up where our 2010 release Wanderer On The Edge Of Time left off, although the new material is more loosely connected and only occasionally linked by little interludes.”
Definitely something to look forward to!
Donc pour résumer, le 11ème album du groupe sortira le 28 avril. Il contiendra 8 titres (qui durent entre 5 et 7 minutes), dont 3 instrumentaux.

Tain les mecs ils ont enfin un vrai chanteur et ils font un album avec presque une moitié de titres instrumentaux
Evidemment j'achèterai quand même...

En espérant plus de date que d'habitude, c'est quand même la loose de les voir si peu, surtout qu'ils sont à une petite heure de chez moi maintenant.

Autant lÄidée aurait pu rendre cool, autant il est difficile de faire plus cheap au niveau 3D là.

The album will be released through SPV/Steamhammer as CD, Double Gatefold LP on colored vinyl (including CD in a cardboard sleeve) and as Digital Download.

Quelqu'un a pu en écouter un peu ?
Il est sorti hier en Scandinavie et entre demain et lundi un peu partout ailleurs, mais ils n'ont rien balancé en terme d'extraits, c'est un peu dommage...

très bon disque après quelques écoutes
