Finland’s dark melodic death metal INSOMNIUM return with their sixth studio album, entitled Shadows Of The Dying Sun. The album will be released on April 28th in Europe and on April 29th in North America via Century Media Records.
The artwork was again created by Wille Naukkarinen, all the drums were recorded at studio SF Sound (with Kimmo Perkkiö) while rest of the instruments were put on tape at studio Korkeakoski under watching eyes of Teemu Aalto. André Alvinzi (Fascination Street Studios) took care of the mix and the album is mastered by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers.

Fidèle à leur univers visuel , à leur musique même si ce morceau est , à mon goût , un peu en deça des 2 derniers albums. Mais cela reste très bon .
Et capable de faire un clip avec 3 paysages , 2 corbeaux et un peu de brume !

J'ai trouvé l'album mou du genou, surtout sur la deuxième partie où la voix claire prend le pas sur le chant hurlé.

Le morceau est sympa avec les bonnes guitares leads à la Insomnium, mais j'espère que le reste de l'album sera supérieur à cet extrait néanmoins.

Mouais pas trop fan des passages en voix claires mais bon, ce titre est quand même un poil supérieur au 1er extrait.
Je l'ai fait tourner 2 fois sans à priori et bien je trouve que c'est du très bon mélo death à tendance mélancolique surtout.
Pas un album que j'écouterais en boucle mais il n'est pas déplaisant.

Finnish melodic deathsters INSOMNIUM will release their new album, "Winter's Gate", on September 23 via Century Media. A concept album made up of one epic 40-minute song, the effort is built around a short story, "Winter's Gate" ("Talven Portti" in Finnish), written by vocalist and bassist Niilo Sevänen, recipient of numerous Finnish awards and nominations. The compelling short story is about a group of Vikings who set out to find a fabled island west of Ireland, despite the treacherous winter drawing near.
The cover artwork for "Winter's Gate" was created by Teemu Tähkänen and can be seen below.
The full story will be released together with the album as a book with translations in English, Finnish and German, and illustrated by the artist Teemu Tähkänen.
"Winter's Gate" is currently being mixed by Dan Swanö at Unisound AB studio in Sweden.
