Fu Manchu - Gigantoid

Southern California heavy rockers FU MANCHU head into the studio this weekend to begin recording their 11th studio album. It will be the first new album release since 2009's Signs Of Infinite Power, and will be released on their own At The Dojo label in May, coinciding with a full month-long US tour with Europe and the rest of the world to follow leading up to the bands 25th anniversary in 2015.
The album is being self produced by the band and recorded by Andrew Giacumakis (MOAB) and Jim Monroe (THE ADOLESCENTS, X).

L'album est fini d'enregistrer, le mixage est en cours, et il sortira le 1er mai.
"We are mixing the new Fu Manchu record now. It will be out May 1st. More info on the record and tour dates soon. We are half way done mailing out the 'No One Rides For Free' reissue LP's as well. Overseas order going out now and the rest of the USA orders should be out by Monday / Tuesday."

On dirait une affiche pour un documentaire d'Arte!
Sinon la chanson est plutôt sympa, même si j'ai un peu de mal avec le début.

Il est sur Deezer également. Je connais mal la disco du groupe donc je ne peux pas trop comparer avec le reste, mais j'ai trouvé ça plutôt cool. Du stoner classique et carré, dans l'esprit d'un
Red Fang (même si je sais que Fu Manchu sont plus anciens), mais en mieux

Pareil, je suis loin de connaître tous les albums mais ce dernier est passé tout seul (en même temps seulement 9 titres dont un "No Warning" très court).
Il y' a une bonne alternance entre passages bien rock, d'autres un peu plus 'psyché' et purement stoner, le chant 'chaleureux' est très bon aussi.
