The last months you saw the Very 'Eavy Festival flyer many times on your timeline. There is a good reason for that! It’s not an easy job to organize a succesful festival with only oldschool Heavy Metal and Hardrock in The Netherlands nowadays. Hey! It’s not the 80’s anymore! The times that thousands of people showed up at festivals such as “Aardschokdag” or “Dynamo Open Air” are far behind us. Very ‘Eavy did grow fast the last years, but we also booked more and bigger names each year. In a little more than 5 weeks from now the 5th anniversary edition will be a fact.

To be honest i did expect that this edition would be sold out months ago already. If you ask me, this line up is simply amazing. I know it’s not 1984 anymore but this line up would easily attract 5000 visitors in those days! More than 400 tickets are sold and hopefully the other tickets will sell the next weeks, but the big question is, will Very ‘Eavy keep growing? Why does it need to grow? We don’t make much money with this festival.

Every year we spent hundreds of hours into the festival. Hours we can’t spent on our daily jobs. Very ‘Eavy Festival is our hobby and we don’t need to make big money, but we also don’t wanna lose money because of the festival. We are more than thankful for the hundreds of returning visitors each year and it feels like a big family. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! People from more than 18 countries showed up the last years and we can’t wait to see you all again! Will there be a Very ‘Eavy Festival in 2016? It’s totally depending on how many visitors will show up this year. We need a completely sold out edition to make our dreams for 2016 come true. So come on people share or keep sharing our flyer!
