Norwegian rock band AUDREY HORNE will release its fourth studio album, "Youngblood", via Napalm Records on the following dates:
Norway: January 25, 2013
Sweden, Finland, Espania: January 30, 2013
Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux: February 1, 2013
Rest Of Europe: February 4, 2013
USA, Canada: February 5, 2013
According to a press release, "Youngblood" follows in "the ancient tradition of honest and true handmade music, a fresh enthusiasm and new energetic sound. 'Redemption Blues', 'Youngblood' or 'Show And Tell' not only live up to the numerous AUDREY HORNE classics, but turn into irresistible tunes with catchy refrains right from the start that will stay with you for a long time."
AUDREY HORNE will present "Youngblood" live on stage with live shows in Oslo (with STONE SOUR on December 18 and with BLACK DEBBATH on January 25). In March 2013, AUDREY HORNE will play Germany and Prague, Czech Republic with LONG DISTANCE CALLING and SÓLSTAFIR.
AUDREY HORNE was formed in 2002, taking its name from Sherilyn Fenn's character in the cult TV series "Twin Peaks". Although some of the band's members play or have previously played in black metal bands like ENSLAVED and GORGOROTH, AUDREY HORNE's music is far removed from the black metal genre, and can be described as heavy and melodic hard rock, similar to bands like FAITH NO MORE, ALICE IN CHAINS and A PERFECT CIRCLE.

Le titre "Redemption BLues" est sympa mais un truc me froisse dans le refrain! Un passage je trouve que la ligne de chant est identique à un passage du refrain de Resurrection By Erection de Powerwolf...

c'est subtil, riche et bourrée d'adrénaline...

Bah c'est un petit groupe sans prétention qui fait de la musique légère, à priori ça ne restera pas. Mais c'est toujours agréable.

c'est vrai qu'elle donne la peche, comme tout l'album, une petite perle!!
ma favorite moi c'est "The Open sea", vraiment très entrainante cette compo!

Hello world, we are set to release our brand new studio album "Pure Heavy" on September 19th in Norway, September and 26th/29th anywhere else in Europe - October 7th USA/CAN via Napalm Records.
“PURE HEAVY” was written and recorded in the same spirit as YOUNGBLOOD, and that we think will rock your socks off. This time we worked with 2 producers: Sir Dupermann (aka Jörgen Traeen), who mixed the precious album, and The Sun King (aka Iver Sandöy), who engineered YOUNGBLOOD. Together we created something that we found fitting to the title and we are truly looking forward to come out an present this album to you all live, until then: Play it loud and heavy!

Mouais, en dehors du même nom et du fait qu'ils ont partagé une affiche, pas grand chose à voir entre les deux groupes, alors bon un split, je suis pas sûr que ce soit la meilleure idée niveau plan marketing.
Sinon je pense être un des rares immunisé au "charme" de ce groupe visiblement, je peux vraiment pas, à la limite de l'allergie.

A part le morceau "redemption blues", ce groupe ne m'a jamais accroché. Et avec ce nouveau morceau, ce n'est pas encore aujourd'hui.

ça fait très Thin Lizzy ce morceau. Pas très convaincu...
Sinon Audrey Horne c'est pas mal sur disque par contre en live c'est de la grosse tuerie !
On verra avec le reste de l'album comment ça passe.
