C'est il me semble la version digitale qui sort en août, cd et vinyle ça sera pour plus tard :
British heavy metal legends JAGUAR have completed work on their new album, "Metal X", for an August release via Mondo Tunes. The CD was mixed by BLACK SABBATH and JUDAS PRIEST engineer/producer Mike Exeter.

Focusing on the fundamentals of the NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) era, the members of JAGUAR state that the new album is "as heavy, fast, loud and proud, all the components of what the band were about in '79, but recorded with a modern approach to get the best out of the new songs."

"It was great to have Mike on board for mixing duties," the group states. "He's a real cool dude, and one of the nicest guys in metal! Mike came straight from mastering with JUDAS PRIEST to work with us. He's nonstop and we are honored he gave us his time."

JAGUAR debuted some tracks from the album at their show at this year's edition of the Sweden Rock Festival, performing on the same day as BLACK SABBATH.

METALLICA's Lars Ulrich also shares some words about JAGUAR in the "Metal X" sleeve notes, stating that he has always been a huge fan of the band. The CD also features a special bonus track which METALLICA fans will be familiar with.

"Metal X" is JAGUAR's first new material release since "Run Ragged" in 2003 and features longtime bass player Simon Patel, who joined the band in 2006.

"Metal X" digipak CDs will be offered in the coming months. A limited-edition vinyl release is also being planned for later in the year.

Jaguar are proud to announce the addition of Swedish vocalist L-G Persson (Steel Attack, The Storyteller) to their line-up. In September 2014, Jaguar parted company with their previous vocalist Jamie Manton following their appearance at Sweden Rock Festival in June the same year. Since then the band has been searching for the perfect vocalist both in the UK and Scandinavia, latterly though in Sweden as the band founder Garry Pepperd planned to move to Sweden to settle down with his Swedish born fiancée.

In November the same year the band released their long awaited album Metal X on GoldenCore Records/ZYX Music, mixed by Mike Exeter (Judas Priest/Black Sabbath) the album was given a release on vinyl in the summer of 2015 by the same label.

In April 2015, Garry Pepperd moved to north Sweden with his fiancée and in August the band finally found the perfect fit in Swedish born vocalist L-G Persson from the Swedish heavy metal/power metal band The Storyteller from Gävle, Sweden.

Retour à la case départ, le chanteur se barre :
After recently announcing a new singer, British NWOBHM band Jaguar (once interviewed for Metal Storm) is on a singer hunt once again. Lars-Göran Persson (The Storyteller) left because the rest of the band is living in England and he is in Sweden, making it difficult logistically.

The band explained: "Due to the logistical issues faced with L-G living in Sweden and the rest of the band living in England it has been decided that singer Lars and Jaguar should part company. The band wish Lars well... The search for a singer continues..."
