Tickets to be released on October 9th at 9 am!
On Thursday October 9th at 09.00 in the morning, the first tickets for the 2015 edition of the Sweden Rock Festival will be made available!
Limited edition 3- and 4-day tickets will be released first, along with an equally limited batch of 4-day VIP tickets. All limited edition tickets include a unique Sweden Rock T-shirt. A total of just 3000 tickets, all varieties included, will be up for grabs.
When these 3000 tickets are sold out, the regular 3- and 4-day tickets and the 4-day VIP tickets will be made available. The regular tickets do not include a T-shirt. 1-day tickets will be made available in the spring.
The tickets will have two new features for next year: the first is that the official festival programme will be included in the ticket price. Until now, programmes have been sold at the festival area – next year you will get one for free when exchanging your ticket for a festival wrist band. The second new feature is that free WiFi access will also be included in the ticket price. WiFi access was available for purchase in 2014, but will now be available at open hot spots spread out over the festival area.
Everyone buying a festival ticket before Christmas will also have the chance to win one of 20 signed electric guitars and various other prices. Competitions will be held throughout the autumn, so the sooner you buy your ticket, the better your chance at winning.
The first confirmed artists for next year’s festival will be announce at the Rockbåten cruise on October 10th-12th and on our website shortly afterwards.

Lawton était au BYH en guest cette année, ils ont dû reprendre du service du coup. Après les vidéos de ces dernières années niveau performances vocales font parfois un peu peur, à voir donc, mais sur le papier ça chie, sans parler du reste...
Dommage que si cher quoi...

Les 3 têtes d'affiche sont cool + hammerfall et 2-3 noms mais rien de très intéressant pour moi !

Ouaip pareil, cette affiche ne m'emballe pas beaucoup comparé à d'autres que ce fest a sorti dernièrement..

Refuge is in fact the reunited 1988-1994 line-up of German heavy/power metal icons Rage: Peavy Wagner (vocals/bas), Manni Schmidt (guitar, ex-Grave Digger) and Chris Eftimiadis (drums). The trio reunites to perform songs exclusively from what some consider the best period in the history of Rage, and albums like “Perfect man”, “Secrets in a weird world”, “Trapped” and “Missing link”. The name Refuge is used since the current version of Rage, front man Peavy’s day job, remains active.
Thin Lizzy leader Phil Lynott (RIP) called keyboardist Darren Wharton the band’s most talented member ever. Since 1985, the same Darren Wharton fronts Dare – originally a melodic hard rock band which has gradually turned towards a more ethereal and Celtic sound. Next spring will see the release of the eighth Dare studio album, shortly before them returning to Sweden Rock.
Dan Hylander earned his place in Swedish rock history as the leader of Raj Montana band. When the group was disbanded in 1984, Dan Hylander continued as a solo artist and producer for artists like Totta Näslund and Tomas Ledin. In 2011 he made a comeback album and next year he makes his Sweden Rock debut – a suitably rocking setlist has been promised.
Yesterday, Swedish band Egonaut was announced for the Nemis Stage!

Par contre j'arrive pas à me faire à la position de Five Finger Death Punch...

J'ai l'impression que c'est un gamin de 4 ans qui a collé les noms des groupes sur l'affiche.
Quand je vois Five finger machin à la même hauteur que Toto et Dare au même niveau que les tribute bands, 5 lignes plus bas que Delain. voilà quoi....
D'ailleurs ça me rappelle le débat qu'on a eu dans le topic Hellfest concernant la présence de Toto sur un fest métal.
Pas mal aussi les exclus bidons pour donner l'impression de surcharger l'affiche du style " Backyard babies - Premier show en 5 ans!!!"
Wahouuuu super ....
Bref, ça reste une belle affiche mais c'est clair que ça fait moins rêver d'année en année.

Oui je suis d'accord, il y a encore pas longtemps je trouvais l'affiche excellente, d'autant que les temps de jeu sont remarquables... là oui elle est pas mal, mais bon tous ces groupes on va les retrouver à d'autres fests, plus près et souvent pour moins chers.

Mouai pas forcément, il y a des groupes comme Wolf ou The Order Of Israfel qu'il me semble pas avoir vu ailleurs!
Après ça manque juste un peu de pointures sur le haut de l'affiche je trouve.

The Order of Israfel font quelques fests en fait mais surtout eu Suède (ce qui colle au reste du coup).

La qualité de l'affiche est assez inférieure à celle d'autres années. Mais si on regarde celles du Hellfest et du Graspop, c'est le même problème. Je pense que c'est lié à la disponibilité des groupes sur cette période, parce que cette année aucune affiche d'un festival de juin ne me fait sauter au plafond
A l'inverse, en juillet et août, Wacken et le Bang Your Head s'annoncent très bien et le Rock Fest Barcelone a une affiche au top.
