Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One, Guilt Machine) and Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering, Devin Townsend Project) have joined forces for new band, The Gentle Storm. Van Giersbergen has checked in with the following update:

"I am super happy to be able to announce the first batch of The Gentle Storm shows! I will be touring in support of the upcoming album until the end of next year. We start off in the Netherlands, but more (international) dates will be revealed soon. The album release show in Amsterdam is the only date where Arjen Lucassen will make a special appearance on stage. Pre_sale starts this coming Friday (November 14th) at 10:00 a.m.!"

Confirmed dates are currently as follows:

3 - Hedon - Zwolle, The Netherlands
11 - Paard van Troje - Den Haag, The Netherlands

Arjen ne devrait donc prendre part uniquement à la "release show" de l'album.
