Déjà là ils sortent un nouveau single (?) avec le gratteux (Skullator huhu) et le bassiste qui se sont mis au chant :

Reunited Atlanta-based thrashers HALLOWS EVE will be issuing a new single, "Evil Offerings", later this month. The single, the group's first official release in 16 years, features founding members Tommy Stewart on bass and vocals, and Skullator on guitar and lead vocals, along with Brandon Ottinger on guitar and Dane Jensen on drums.

"Evil Offerings" contains the following cuts:

01. Technicolour Roadkill

Described by the band as "simply fast and intense," this cut features Tommy Stewart on lead vocals.

02. Looking Glass

This song, which features Skullator on lead vocals, "gives a sample of the diversity of the band by adding his death metal influences," according to a press release. "The band felt the need to expand their sound to touch several aspects of metal, but stay based in the classic horror themes with a tendency towards a message of personal strength with an aggressive attitude..."

Il y a que Anderson qui chante sur les albums? J'ai toujours pensé qu'il y avait plusieurs chanteurs... S'il n'y a que lui, il diversifie (:D ) bien son registre.

Ouais il a chanté sur les 3 albums du groupe. Le nouveau on dira qu'il n'a jamais existé

Il chante sur tous les morceaux des trois albums? Faut quand même que je m'écoute leur dernier chef-d'oeuvre...

En principe ouais, il chante sur tous, mais il y a peut-être des détails qui m'ont échappé.

Bon, je viens de contrôler, j'ai bien tous les albums officiels du groupe ... 1985 + 1986 + 1988 ... Moi perso j'accroche pas des masses au style du Thrash-Crue de "Tales Of Terror" ...
Leur meilleur album reste à mes yeux le "Death And Insanity" avec un vrai esprit Thrash-Metal inspiré Bay Area ... Petite anecdote pour ceux qui ont le Cd (re-édition 1988 par Metal Blade Rec.), voici la track liste officielle :

... Enfin, pour ce qui est de "Monument", le moins que l'on puisse dire c'est que le titre de l'album n'est pas le reflet du contenu !!! Un Thrash évasif, sans grande conviction, le son n'est pas terrible, cela manque d'âme ... Comme si le groupe s'essoufflait sur un 100 mètres, dès les premiers dix mètres ... décevant !!!

J'aime les groupes qui m'écoutent....... ayé ils ont finalement repris leur ancien chanteur!

Stacy Andersen and Tommy Stewart appeared on stage together for the first time since 1989 during the band's performance at the New England Metal And Hardcore Festival on April 28, 2007 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Metal Blade Records. They were joined by ex-RIGOR MORTIS lead vocalist and guitarist Doyle Bright (who is also Andersen's bandmate in TWO PRONGED CROWN and SOULZERO), and drummer Dane Jensen. Il a un peu changé de voix on dirait, mais musicalement c'est déjà mieux que l'infamie qu'ils faisaient lors de la reformation.

C'est sympa sans plus... 'fin pas transcendant quoi... Il y a des bons plans, mais ça a pas la classe de l'époque je trouve.
Par-contre, leur son est bien old-school, ça le fait.

Hallows Eve's last album, The Neverending Sleep, was released in 2008.

Je ne peux pas écouter le titre en entier, il se coupe après moins d'une minute, mais je trouve la production très bizarre et assez faible...
