J'avais pas spécialement envie de me pencher sur ce groupe canadien (signé chez Napalm) mais après avoir revu une info sur lui en plus du fait que leur nouvel album est en intégralité sur deezer, j'ai franchi le pas et c'est plutôt sympa.
Quelques petites pointes extrêmes (un peu de growls et blasts) mais ça reste globalement du heavy/power 'moderne' bien expédié avec des relents melodeath.
La chanteuse arrache pas mal, dès le début ça m'a fait penser à du Triosphere même si ici elle 'screame' davantage.
Morceau qui pulse plus que l'album dans sa globalité.

Je viens de découvrir ce groupe avec le dernier album "time stans still".
Je suis de l'avis de Monsieur Sandman, c'est vraiment pas mal
Ça a bien la patate, la chanteuse assure et le chant pas mal varié, avec effectivement quelques scream et quelques growl

Le prochain album prévu pour juin est un concept :
It has now been 10 years of Unleash The Archers! These heavy metal heroes are celebrating this honor with an exhilarating aural feast on upcoming album "Apex," due out on June 2nd, 2017 via Napalm Records.
The band states: "We are extremely excited to release another full on concept album; it's just so much fun to play out a story when you're up on stage. This one has a protagonist that we call The Immortal being forced to serve the antagonist, a.k.a. The Matriarch as she embarks down a very dark path to achieve immortality.
"We had a great time writing this record, and I think the cohesiveness of the story has really shone through in the music as well. It has a certain vibe throughout, from beginning to end, and we can't wait to hear what our fans have to say about the direction this album has taken. We don't like to write the same record over and over again and we are very happy with the progression of our sound on Apex. We think it will appeal to all of our fans old and new; it has the best parts of our past albums combined into one with just a little more spit and polish."

C'est marrant, les 3 titres sont vraiment différents.
Le dernier est plutôt épique, le second plus classique (mais vraiment très bon) et le premier est plutôt nul !
Dur de ce faire un avis. A écouter plus en détail.

Effectivement. Je ne connaissais pas ce groupe, j'ai écouté 2 - 3 titres postés plus haut et j'aime bien : les compos bien pêchues, la voix de la chanteuse, parfois quelques pointes de synthé bien placées.

Faster Than Light est sympa, mais Legacy est tout de même nettement meilleure à mon goût, plus originale. Le clip de Faster ne dépareillerait pas chez The Night Flight Orchestra.

Nouvelle version "synth wave" (!) d'une chanson issue de l'album Apex, dans le cadre d'une réédition.
