L'ex chanteuse de SISTER SIN Liv Jagrell démarre une carrière solo avec LIV SIN.
Après une carrière de 13 ans, SISTER SIN a vendu des milliers d'albums et fait le tour du mondeen ouvrant pour SLAYER et KING DIAMOND entre autres. SISTER SIN a tourné sans relâche pendant plus d'une décennie à travers l'Europe et l'Amérique du Nord .
Lorsque SISTER SIN s'est séparé à la fin de 2015, Liv savait qu'elle avait beaucoup plus pour donner à ses fans. De là, LIV SIN est né. Liv travaille actuellement sur un nouvel album. Liv : «Pour moi, ça n'a jamais été une option d'arrêter de chanter, je vis pour la scène et pour mes fans, SISTER SIN me manque, mais je suis très heureuse de travailler sur mon propre projet, et je peux le promettre.. ce ne sera pas du pop rock mielleux. Cela va être du gros métal ! "
Liv a récemment déclaré à East Texas Music Scene sur la fin du SISTER SIN: "Il n'y a pas de rancune, mais la séparation n'était pas voulue ni par moi, ni par Dave [Sundberg, batterie]. "

Par contre, la pochette est laide, on ne peut pas dire qu'elle se met en valeur pour le coup; on dirait une cover de Marylin Manson...

Former SISTER SIN vocalist Liv "Sin" Jagrell is currently in a secret location working on her debut solo album, which is being produced by longtime U.D.O. bassist Fitty Wienhold. Due in early 2017 via the Swedish label Despotz Records, the as-yet-untitled effort is being co-produced by longtime ACCEPT and U.D.O. member Stefan Kaufmann.
Liv says of the collaboration: "I'm truly excited to work with Stefan! He is an incredible musician and a longtime metal hero. I think he can bring that extra bit to my music with his lifelong experience in both ACCEPT and U.D.O." Kaufmann adds: "When Liv called me and asked to produce her new project together with Fitty, of course I said yes! Liv has talent, and I am sure it will be a blast."
From the gutters of south Sweden, Jagrell emerged as a major force as the vocalist for hard rockers SISTER SIN. Throughout their 13-year career, SISTER SIN sold thousands of albums and toured the world with high-profile tours supporting the likes of SLAYER and KING DIAMOND on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, as well as being a part of the Revolver magazine "Hottest Chicks In Metal" tour. SISTER SIN toured relentlessly for over a decade across Europe and North America garnering an intensely loyal following of rockers that craved the band’s aggressive and melodic brand of hard rock.
When SISTER SIN called it quits at the end of 2015, Liv knew that she had much more to give to her fans. From this, LIV SIN was born. Liv's new music shows the power, sexiness, and attitude that she is known for. Liv says: "For me, it has never been an option to stop singing. I live for the stage and for my fans. I still miss SISTER SIN, but I am very excited to work on my own project, and I can promise it will not be some soft pop rock. This is going to be metal deluxe, because that's who I am!"
LIV SIN offers a modernized hard rock sound to take Liv into her next phase, a sound that is destined to please both new fans and her longtime fans of SISTER SIN.

Un choix étonnant de reprise : "Immortal Sin" de FIGHT (oui le groupe de Rob Halford), ici en duo avec le chanteur de 69 Eyes.
Le chant est évidemment en-dessous de l'originale, mais ça a le mérite d'être un peu différent :

Un EP avec une reprise de Danzig :
LIV SIN, the new band led by former SISTER SIN vocalist Liv "Sin" Jagrell, has released its cover version of the DANZIG song "Devil's Plaything". The track will appear on LIV SIN's upcoming EP, "Inverted", which will be issued on May 25. The vinyl-only release, which was produced by Martin Sandvik of HARDCORE SUPERSTAR at Studio Österlyckan, also includes reworked versions of the songs "Black Souls" and "Killing Ourselves To Live" from LIV SIN's debut album, 2017's "Follow Me", as well as a bonus track called "Murphy's Law" that was originally recorded for "Follow Me".
