Paranormal, Alice Cooper's new studio album, his first in 6 years, is going to be released on July 28th, 2017 on earMUSIC as 2CD digipak, 2LP, limited box set and digital. The 12 track album has been recorded in Nashville with long-time collaborator Bob Ezrin and features a very special bonus CD - a mini-album consisting of three brand new songs written and recorded together with the original Alice Cooper band members Dennis Dunaway, drummer Neal Smith and guitarist Michael Bruce alongside carefully selected live recordings.

Le refrain me rappelle beaucoup celui du Cult of personality de LIVING COLOUR.

L'album est très honnête mais j'ai trouvé la production beaucoup trop propre, ça enlève pas mal de folie à l'album.

La chanson suivante a été écrite par Alice Cooper en 1967, puis oubliée et perdue, pour être finalement terminée quasiment 40 ans plus tard! Très hypnotique en tout cas et typique de l'époque, influencé Beatles en plus hanté, j'aime beaucoup.
The official video for the song "The Sound Of A" from legendary rocker Alice Cooper can be seen below. The track has a special meaning; it is, in fact, the first song that Cooper wrote entirely on his own back in 1967. The song was forgotten until Dennis Dunaway, the bass player of the original ALICE COOPER band, rediscovered it and played it to Alice, after which the two of them updated the song and then recorded it for the "Paranormal" album. With its psychedelic sound, swirling guitars and the mysterious Hammond organ, it is one of the most hypnotic songs on "Paranormal".

Longtemps après, mais : j'étais à Londres début septembre, et il y avait des affiches pour la sortie de l'album un peu partout dans le métro. Je suppose que ça accompagnait une campagne magazines à la même échelle.
Pendant ce temps-là en France ? Rien ou presque...
Il y a beaucoup de publicités pour du théâtre par chez nous, c'est sans doute une bonne chose, la contrepartie est qu'il n'y a presque jamais d'affiches pour de la musique (rock ou pas). Forcément, ça influence "la consommation" des gens...

En effet ça ressemble pas mal, je ne les ai pas cités car en 67 ils démarraient sous ce nom et je ne sais pas si Alice les connaissait déjà. Mais il est possible que cet aspect ait été rajouté dernièrement quand ils ont refait la chanson.
j'aime beaucoup aussi
