Un Live de la tournée prévu pour début 2019 et un album avec le line up actuel ( ) pour... 2020!


UNBEATABLE!

Among the massive PUMPKINS UNITED WORLD TOUR’s absolute open air highlights were, of course, the headliner slots at Wacken, Barcelona’s Rock Fest and Masters of Rock – but also the mega gigs with Iron Maiden at Sweden Rock Festival and Florence’s Firenze Rocks in June definitely were shows for all eternity.

For those, who mysteriously missed the tour, goosebumps footage of the PUMPKINS UNITED WORLD TOUR, will be released as a live CD as well as on DVD and Blu-ray beginning of 2019!!! As of now, the wait until the release can be shortened with a stream of the full Wacken show at Magenta Music 360 right here:

BUT HERE IT COMES!

As we are still indulging in the Wacken encore or preparing for the show in Las Vegas/ USA, those maniacs are already launching the next sensation: For starters, Nuclear Blast has insisted to keep the band on their roster for a few more years, and – double bass drum roll – there’ll actually be a brand-new STUDIO ALBUM with KISKE AND HANSEN. When the band around songwriting trio Weikath, Hansen and Deris will be retreating to the studio together with these two exceptional singers in 2019, it’s clear that the album scheduled for 2020 will be no less than EPIC. If this news doesn’t make you go all dewy, your proper rock baptism might not have happened yet – the rest of us are way over the moon as of now, because:

Chouette nouvelle ça !

La nouvelle que tout le monde attendait je crois, même si c'était de plus en plus évident.

Par contre ça signifie la mort de Gamma Ray pendant encore quelques années.

Faut surtout esperer que l'inspiration soit au rdv car depuis un bon moment ce n'est plus le cas chez aucun des protagonistes.

En effet. Pas sur que Gamma Ray soit tant regretté que ça finalement.

Mais les derniers Helloween ne valent pas mieux non plus. "Pumpkins United" est sympa, mais pas renversant.

C'est peut-être l'apport de Kiske qui fera la différence finalement. Car dans toute cette famille, les seuls projets qui m'ont convaincus ces dernières années ce sont les Unisonic, malgré que ce soit essentiellement Denis Ward qui était derrière tout ça.

Une excellente nouvelle ! En espérant que Kiske et surtout Hansen participeront à la composition.

Par contre c’est dommage pour Gamma Ray car entre l’album et la tournée qui suivra sûrement il est pas prêt d’être dispo’ pour son groupe...

Pas nostalgique du tout de Helloween et de se type de chant qui me porte sur le système aujourd’hui en 2018 donc ça fera le bonheur de ceux qui aime et temps mieux

Avec 2 nouveaux (anciens) membres Helloween devient un nouveau groupe, l'alchimie va devoir évoluer pour fonctionner.

Mais Kiske ne participera qu'à la marge aux compositions, juste aux arrangements vocaux (comme dans Unisonic), il est bien écrit que le groupe va s'articuler autour de Weikath, Hansen et Deris.

Ca sera un album attendu pour sûr... à voir ce que ça donnera mais Helloween a toujours pondu de bons morceaux et Hansen si il se met en mode Helloween ça peut être pas mal. Me réjouis d'entendre ça même si je me prépare psychologiquement à un album moyen

Pour Gamma Ray de toute façon, entre le manque d'inspiration des derniers albums, des prestations moyennes en live sur leur dernière tournée et l'album solo de Kai Hansen, ça sentait déjà la longue pause.

Snif je rêve de voir Da Rayz en live, après si c'est pour une prestation bof...

From October 4, 2019, it finally will be possible: With the release of UNITED ALIVE & UNITED ALIVE IN MADRID you can transport yourselves to the tour anytime, and dive into every detail with hellish tracking shots, breathless close-ups, and an intimate interview. Once again, the artwork was created by Martin Hausler and offers plenty of unreleased live image.

The DVD/BLU-RAY nails the tour with recordings from Wacken in front of 75,000 metal heads and 14,000 fans in the Madrid arena – and as a bonus, the show in the Espaço das Américas, gathering 8,000 in São Paulo. Altogether, it offers over three hours of live material in stereo and premium 5.1 surround sound, plus backstage material, tons of surprises, and a very personal band interview about the past, present and future. The LIVE-CD/VINYL presents a whopping 2 hours 20 of pure audio material from the concert in Madrid plus four bonus tracks from the shows in Prague, São Paulo, Wacken, and Santiago de Chile.

C'est clair... Il aurait pu faire un coffret similaire au Keeper (...) Legacy World Tour.

ça sera sans moi, j'aime bien avoir l'image et le cd, pas adepte de regarder des concerts en conduisant

A première vue toutes les chansons interprétées sur la tournées sont présentes, notamment sur le CD3 pour certaines des moins habituelles.

Le truc pratique avec cette vidéo, c'est qu'elle me permet de mettre le doigt, je pense, sur la raison principale pour laquelle je n'arrive jamais vraiment à accrocher à Helloween en concert : c'est -très- approximatif. Chacun joue son petit truc, jamais parfaitement en rythme (ou juste, pour Derris !) mais jamais totalement faux non plus "ça fait le job". Ca serait un autre groupe on les descendrait, mais comme "c'est Helloween" il faut dire que c'est génial... mouais, bof, je continuerai à être nostalgique de Gamma Ray.

(Accessoirement, elle démontre à nouveau que Wacken, vraiment c'est pas pour moi : trop de monde, je ne m'y projette pas DU TOUT !)

Si Wacken n'est pas pour toi, le Hellfest encore moins ! Wacken a au moins cet avantage d'être nettement plus grand en superficie.

Je n'ai pas du tout le même ressenti au contraire même ! Je trouve que chacun a sa place et je suis même dégouté d'avoir loupé les concerts...
