Il est annoncé pour le 18 octobre, mais attendons de voir.
En tout cas le communiqué est ridicule, ce qui n'étonnera pas ceux qui ont suivi les péripéties des "concerts" récents. Le pire c'est qu'il insulte les membres partis depuis...
In the beginning of this year, Agent Steel have reactivated their engines. The band is currently working on the forthcoming studio album, titled No Mercy From The Godz, which is scheduled for an imminent October 18, 2019 launch. The album will be unleashed by the band's new label - Dissonance Productions.
Agent Steel are also preparing for their forthcoming shows at various privileged confirmed dates, beginning on 6th of December and 7th December in Milan and Florence, Italy. John and the new Agent Steel incarnation are also preparing for a monumental first time appearance in Greece as headliners, performing at Up The Hammers festival in Athens, Greece - March of 2020. This headlining performance is forecast as being fertile metal soil for the band's first live Agent Steel DVD/album to be captured as fronted by original founding vocalist John Cyriis.
Statement from the band: "The band's current lineup consists of guitarist Nikolay Atanasov, and original AS guitarist Bill Simmons; Mr. Simmons is the first/original guitarist of the AS lineup, as the band first appeared throughout the L.A. club circuit in 1983. Also included in this classic/new lineup are bassist Joe McGuigan (Gama Bomb) and drummer Dennis Kruse Stromberg. This incarnation of AS is the long-awaited reactivation featuring Agent Steel founder, brand creator, vocalist John Cyriis, who appeared on all three original classic albums, (i.e., Skeptics Apocalypse, Mad Locust Rising, and the platinum seller Unstoppable Force). John is very pleased with this new lineup, which he is confident will arise as the very best lineup in the band's history and whom he believes are certain to compliment the band's legacy, and about manifest an about-face - that to counter and transcend the band's "less than competent performance" by a stand-in and unofficial lineup at the KIT festival 2019!"

Démo en écoute.
Mon avis approfondi en détails : .................................... c'est nul.
Bon, pas totalement (quoique). Mais en tout cas Cyriis est vraiment cramé.

Encore une histoire complètement dingue entre le fils de john Cyriis les promoteurs du up the hammers et le bassiste de Riot city Dustin Smith, je vous conseille d'aller jeter un oeil sur le Facebook de agent steel !
C'est là 5eme dimension !
Ah et pour info Agent Steel ne jouera pas au up the Hammers en mars !

C'est long j'ai un peu la flemme de lire, en tout cas j'ai aussi vu passer un post de Traveler qui se fout de la gueule de l'attitude de John Cyriis au dernier KIT, quelle ambiance !
edit : ok j'ai compris le baratin, putain c'est vraiment n'importe quoi. Il est grand temps que les fest arrêtent de vouloir s'entêter à les programmer, ils sont pitoyables.

Ils ont déjà eu de la chance que le Up The Hammers les programme, je pense que maintenant plus personne ne prendra le risque, et surtout pas en tête d'affiche.

Ils sont grillés dans le milieu c'est évident !
Tout est toujours de la faute des autres avec eux ! C'est juste hallucinant ce comportement avec des festivals qui ont reçu des centaines de groupes sans avoir le moindre souci !
Ils sont complètement à la ramasse en fait, ça me fait vraiment chier parce que Agent Steel était quand même un sacré groupe, mais là on entendra plus jamais parlé deux je pense.

Nouveau titre en ligne, enfin, c'est ce qu'ils font croire.
Il s'agit en réalité du morceau "The Unexpected" que le groupe jouait uniquement live en 87 (on peut le voir sur la vidéo d'époque), et donc enregistré ici avec un autre nom.
Pas horrible en soi mais assez banal, on sait pourquoi à l'époque le titre n'a jamais été enregistré. Quant au chant bah voilà ce n'est plus vraiment le même...

J'aime bien y a juste la prod qui me fait un peu tiquer, un peu trop clinique, après j'attendais pas des miracles sur le chant 35 ans après, mais ça passe on reconnaît son timbre.
