“Catch Me If You Can” is the explosive new single from Sweden’s finest export of street metal, Hardcore Superstar, scheduled for release on all digital platforms tomorrow, Friday, August 20. “Catch Me If You Can” picks up the pace and builds on the momentum created by the band's highly successful 2018 release You Can’t Kill My Rock N’ Roll. This saw the band travel across the globe from America to Australia, playing to some of the largest audiences of their career and including an unforgettable night, where they broke attendance record for a headline act on the opening night of the world famous Sweden Rock Festival.
Loud, aggressive and totally unrelenting, “Catch Me If You Can” bursts out the speakers with an onslaught of attitude, combined with a pounding backbeat and a chorus that hits like a freight train. This single sets the tone perfectly for the band's upcoming album Abrakadabra, which is scheduled for release in March 2022.
Recorded at both Osterlycken and Bombastik in Musikhens Hus in Gothenburg, the band returned to their roots to work with acclaimed producer Johan Reiven, who they previously collaborated with on their 2005 Black Album. The result is an intense and hard-hitting collection of songs that drummer Adde Moon describes as a “natural follow up to the Black album” and definitely “an album for the fans that is best shared with good friends, cold beer and very loud speakers."

ça m'a l'air très bien, j’espère que l'album est des la même veine, leur précédent était en deçà et manquait de punch.

Titre simple mais efficace. Par contre, le montage vidéo avec la musique est assez nul. Juste une accumulation d'images live et backstage sans aucun rythme, ni lien avec la chanson.

Pour aller à contre temps des autres posts, je trouve que ce groue tourne en rond depuis un sacré moment. Ils ont eu leur sommet avec leur album éponyme en 2005, le suivant Dreamin' in a Casket était encore très bon, et depuis ils ressortent chaque fois le même album en moins inspiré. Certes il y a des exceptions, quelques titres comme Above the Law, mais c'est bien maigre.
Sur scène, c'est une autre histoire, explosif chaque fois que j'ai pu les voir !

Je suis assez d'accord.
Autant j'ai beaucoup écouté la dernière livraison de leurs compères de Crashdiët, autant leur dernier album "Abrakadabra" m'a quasiment laissé de marbre.
Effectivement, ça tourne en rond depuis un moment. J'avais trouvé intéressant un titre comme "Fly" sur l'album de 2015, mais c'est beaucoup trop timide comme tentative d'évolution. Reste quelques fulgurances par ci par là sur les derniers albums ("Have mercy on me" par exemple, ça c'est quand même sacrément efficace!) mais plus envie d'écouter les albums en boucle comme c'était le cas pour "Dreamin' in a casket".

Je les avais vus en co-tête d'affiche avec Buckcherry il y a une dizaine d'années et c'est intéressant de remarquer que les deux groupes ont un peu le même parcours, avec un album qui tue sorti en 2005, un album suivant très bon, et ensuite de la redite, un enchainement de disques moyens voir médiocres malgré des fulgurances (je pense à Gluttony ou Say Fuck It). Dommage dans les deux cas !
