Canadian progressive sci-fi metal innovators, Voivod, have announced that their new studio album, Synchro Anarchy, is scheduled for worldwide release on February 11 via Century Media Records.
“We are eager to present our latest work, a real collaborative effort. The new album represents countless hours of writing, demoing, recording, mixing and so on. The band and Francis Perron at RadicArt Studio gave their very best to make it happen under unusual circumstances, which led us to call it Synchro Anarchy. We feel that the sound and music are 100% Voïvod, and we hope everyone will enjoy it as much as we had fun making it. We certainly can’t wait to play it live,” states Voivod drummer Michel “Away” Langevin about the forthcoming release.
Closing in on 40 eventful years of existence, Voivod are returning with their 15th studio album, reaffirming they are one of the most fervently creative bands in the universe. Synchro Anarchy follows 2018's highly praised and Juno Award winning The Wake album, as well as 2020’s stellar Lost Machine - Live release. The new album was produced by Francis Perron at RadicArt Studio and features cover artwork created by Voivod’s Michel “Away” Langevin.

Clairement différent de ce dont je me souviens de Voivod... Vous me direz l'album en question est Phobos. Je ne l'avais pas trop apprécié d'ailleurs, trop étrange et barré.
Tu viens de définir Voivod en 2 mots.
Du moins à partir de la fin 80's.

Une belle tuerie cet album. Loin d'être un grand fan de Voivod pourtant, mais là je me suis laissé séduire par cet album!

C'est un peu tard mais comme dit le dicton 'mieux vaut tard que jamais' !
J'ai découvert Voïvod avec cet album il y a quelques mois. J'aime tellement !
'Synchro Anarchy' m'a ouvert les portes de leur univers, de leur musique et c'est devenu l'un de mes groupes favoris ces derniers mois. J'explore petit à petit leur discographie, actuellement, j'en suis à 'The Outer Limits' et en même temps je lis tout ce que je trouve sur le net. Il y a d'ailleurs un site de fan en français très intéressant qui regroupe pas mal d'interviews piochées dans de vieux numéros de Hard Rock Magazine entre autres.
