Alors le voici :
"Glory left my Hammer"
De la punchline nanardesque... rien que pour ça, je risque de prendre l'album.
Bref, la sortie de l'album est pour le 7 Avril.
A été composé par notre bon Angus (Thomas Winkler) et Seeb Levermann, dont on reconnait quelque peu la patte "Orden Ogan".

Pas trop ce que j'écoute mais au moins ce clip over the top donne le sourire!
Et en plus il se paie ses anciens camarades qui l'ont viré.

Je viens de l'écouter ce matin et j'ai aussi remarqué la petite pique par rapport à Gloryhammer, à balancer le marteau tout usé...C'est vrai que c'est nanardesque, Burzum et Mayhem auraient peut-être dû faire pareil
Bon sinon pour le titre je trouve qu'on a du Gloryhammer avec quelques grammes d'inspiration en moins. C'est cool que le mec reprenne l'histoire d'Angus. A voir ce que donnera l'album. Album qui est chez Napalm Records tout comme le désormais ancien groupe d'Angus

Deuxième clip tout frais !
Moins "Over the Top" que le premier, mais un gros côté Hammerfall dans le refrain. J'aime bien

Mon rêve ? Que les mecs se réconcilient autour d'une bière et qu'ils écrivent un putain de lore over-nanardesque multiverse ou Angus McFife et Angus McSix doivent unir leurs forces contre l'anti-monitor-Zargo-Seebulon...
...bon faut que je lâche un coup mes comics de la Justice League Infinite Crisis...

Voilà, reçu la galette en milieu de semaine passée et pas mal écouté depuis.
Que dire ? Dans l'ensemble c'est un bon album - la première moitié de l'album démarre bien.
La seconde moitié accroche moins l'oreille au premier abord, mais après plusieurs écoutes, tout se retient pas trop mal.
C'est du gros power metal cliché, sorte de mix entre délire d'univers totalement assumé et comptine bon enfant - tant au niveau des textes que des sonorités kitchs. On trouve quand même des morceaux assez heavy qui n'aurait pas dépareillé sur un album "sérieux" de power metal, comme "Sixcalibur" (très Hammerfall celui-ci), "Starlord of the Sixtus Stellar System" (et son petit clin d'oeil à un célèbre "Angus" d'un autre groupe) ou "Fireflies of Doom".
Et bon, c'est Seb (Sebulon huhu) Leverman aux commandes, donc y'a forcement un minimum de qualité derrière tout ça.
Petit regret perso : pour un groupe qui n'a pas de claviériste, les synthé/sample sont bien mis en avant, voir un peu trop. Je regrette que les guitares ne soient pas plus audibles (surtout qu'il y a deux guitaristes).
Conclusion : j'ai bien pris mon pied avec cet album - et au niveau du lore, ça fait une suite sympathique au dernier Gloryhammer avec Thomas.

Je trouve qu'il y a un style de dessin très "Beavis & Butt-head" assez marrant.
Bref, sympa le clip (surtout la danse de l'ours)

Pour leur futur album 2026 voici un clip complètement over the top encore, et un nouveau line-up.
Rising from the aftermath of many heroic battles is the great Angus McSix. Now, following Angus’ brother, Adam McSix, stepping forth as their main character, the power metal supergroup is thrilled to announce the release of their new album on March 13, 2026 via Napalm Records.
Along with the announcement, Angus McSix offers a new single. “The Fire Of Yore” bridges the gap between Manowar, Modern Talking, and Electric Callboy and features a legend of the German entertainment industry. Actor and musician Uwe Ochsenknecht (“Das Boot”, 1981) is featured in the accompanying official video. In Angus McSix’s universe, he takes on the rôle of the mighty King, father to both previous singer Angus McSix and current hero Adam McSix.
The true metal hymn conveys Adam and his father discussing Angus’ cruel fate – and how to save the legendary hero from the ice block prison in which his nemesis, the Archdemon Seebulon, trapped him. The answer: METAL!
